Not only the guest house is extremely practical and friendly, not only Shamsa (the yacht) is a unique experience you need to do once in your life; but Chris, Lorna and their personnel are the cherry on the cake. With them around you, you are sure that nothing wrong will spoil your trip and that no matter what happens they...

We've just returned from a few days at Nomad Guest House, and can highly recommend our experience. The owners Chris and Lorna, together with Rosemarie and others have created a wonderful atmosphere - as others have said, a real 'home from home' environment. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and we spent our first evening on their roof terrace...

The Nomad Guest House is comfortable, like being at home, with access to dining area, living room, sitting area, and roof patio in addition to one's own room. Liked being in a neighborhood. It felt less restrictive than a hotel room, and does not pretend to have the restaurant and concierge services that one might want on a business trip....

The Nomad Guest House offers quality accomodation at a very reasonable price. All furnishings, fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and very well looked after. The owners are very friendly and will offer help with all kinds of requests and queries. A home away from home is the order of the day here, the rooftop terrace is especially...

If you are looking for a 5* hotel in the centre of Muscat then this is not the place for you. If however you are looking for an extremely comfortable and friendly guest house as a base that is ideally situated to explore muscat and the surrounding area then this is perfect. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and...

This is a belated review. My husband and I spent a week at the guest house in December 2010. The guest house was actually more like a home as we had the use of the guest wing, including kitchen and lounge. We had 2 rooms one with an ensuite bathroom, which gave us a lot of space at a fraction...

Very helpfull staff and warm welcoming. Excellent value for price and quality. Big rooms, nice breakfast. The boat trip they offer us was amazing and worth itself the trip. The location isn't near any amenities but the seaside is at 20 minutes walk and also Muscat it's a big city spread all over so you need anyway to get a...

My stay in Muscat would not have been quite the same had i not stayed here. The owners are incredibly warm and friendly people with whom you feel so at home with. They will always do their up most to make sure your stay runs as smoothly as possible. My room was beautiful - so spacious and with a lovely...

This place is a real gem, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Amongst the many soulless and over-priced intercontinental hotels around Muscat this family-run guest house is not only spacious and comfortable, but provides a level of honest and friendly service that 5-star hotels could only dream of. It is almost as if you become a house guest rather...
