Great all around....friendly staff....Patricio picked me and my wife from airport and already on the way to hotel gave us lots of useful tips....excellent restaurants on same spot...did jetskiing which was exciting to see Sheikh Zayed grand mosque from waterside...nice view from our room in 10 fl....all together very pleasant stay....only thing that bothered us is all the non-islamic attire on beach while the gorgeous Zayed mosque in background but quran says: oh say you non-muslims I do not worship what you worship and you do not worship what I worship...you have your religion and I have mine....alhumdullelah....

We have just returned from our wonderful 10 night stay with my family and parents. It was our first time visting Abu Dhabi and it wont be our last. The Fairmont is one of a select few hotels to have a significant beach and is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of the corniche. This makes it the perfect place to relax. However downtown and Yas island are both within easy reach - 20 min drive. The view overlooking the creek directly to the grand mosque is a huge bonus and something we enjoyed waking up to each morning. Breakfast had a huge selection and a lovely outdoor terrace. There were many conferences and events happening during our stay with most days being very busy. Yet the team kept breakfast service flowing smoothly and we never felt rushed or items on offer never ran out. The buffet was well laid out and organised. There were always plenty of sunbeds and cabanas avaliable every day of our stay. The lifeguards were always plesant and helpful and we appericiated their attendance especially with lots of young swimmers around. Naresh and the beach bar team were fantastic and we often had lunch and cocktails on the beach each day. We ate at most restaurants within the hotel except the steakhouse and Cafe Sushi. The buffet selection in Cuiscene was impressive and delicious (please open on more nights!) The staff were fantastic at all restaurants but we would especially like to mention Eric (security), all the Bridges staff and the two lovely ladies who are the hostesses at Marco's. We enjoyed the pianist in Marco's and think it would be nice to have more live performers/DJs We had planned lots of activities during our stay and concierge were great especially Zahid and Melvin. Rafat and Mohamed made our stay extra special, helping us countless times with transfers, abayas for the mosque, taxis and lots of fun chat about life and football. Bringing a smile to our face every day. Thank you! The reception team are also exceptional. A huge thank you to Omar, Mina, Adam, Mariana and Qussai....nothing was ever too much trouble and always so very helpful. Overall our stay at Fairmont was fantastic and we cannot wait to return!! …

- Amazing rooms, absolutely huge. Bathrooms were lovely and clean and extremely modern, cannot fault the rooms at all. - Vegan and vegetarian food limited at dinner on seafood night and also on international night. We have stayed in hotels in Dubai previously with significantly better options. Fruit was the only available vegan dessert every single night. The vegan dinner option on international night was solely steamed rice and stir fried veg, and the vegetarian options weren’t much better. - Breakfast was excellent for all dietary requirements - We booked this hotel knowing they had an extensive buffet. We didn’t realise buffet was only open 3 days a week out of 7, which is not ideal for vegans or vegetarians given the only other two restaurant options were the set menus available at Marco’s Italian (one vegan dish) and the Lebanese restaurant which was lovely but we did not plan on eating here multiple times. It seems that the brunch available (not available for half board) had considerable vegan options but for some reason these options were not included for hotel guests. It was a shame having to pay for soft drinks when we couldn’t drink at the buffet. A bottle of water was c£8 a night. - Pool and beach areas were both lovely - Lots of events going on outside for weddings etc in both the evening and day time. A couple of very noisy pool days for us were very disappointing. - Music around the bar / pool all day was unnecessary and loud - Not a fault of the hotel but important to note that there are balconies which is fairly obvious from the pictures but worth considering as it’s usually a highlight for us and a balcony was definitely missed Overall, an amazing stay but the vegan/food options could use some work.…

Fabulous stay in a relaxing ambiance at Fairmont Abu Dhabi.. This hotel is what you need to take a break and find relaxation... The entire Team at Front Desk was soo helpful and Service is just perfect.. nothing is too much to ask. We met the Director of Rooms Mr Arnold Francisco, he and his team just looked after us soo well The Housekeeping Team did such an amazing job to make us feel soo well come look at the pictures. The Breakfast at the Terrace is gives you a tranquil feeling even when it is busy we always look forward to breakfast.. The team are soo attentive and would always offer you assitance. The buffet selection is extremely large and offers you everyhting you can imagen. The beach is soo relaxing.. and there is everything you need to get away from the busy lifestyle... Our first time staying in a Fairmont property and I have to say we were very impressed. The level of care and service given by everyone we encountered was exemplary, its clear the teams really want every guest to have a wonderful experience. Lovely hotel food lovely checking could be improved HB package could be explained better what you get for the HB package Had problem checking in main restaurant closed 4days where your package is included but useless has it closed so you have to eat in just the other 2 restaurants so meals are of the same nightly nice if you like eating same most of your holiday overall 7/10 and if maybe 4 star in my opinion

Whilst my husband and I were staying as gold club room guests the following staff were very helpful, attentive and provided wonderful service, both at lunch and early evening - Zalimar, Paolo, Rajan, Stephen and Caren. This was our 2nd time at the hotel and loved each visit. The views from our hotel room of the Mosque were spectacular. We had a relaxing stay for a few days before travelling on to Australia. Do not hesitate to book the gold club option!
