I needed a cheap hotel for an overnight stay whilst in transit in Abu Dhabi and that is exactly what I got. I thought the hotel provided excellent value for money.

I took a taxi from the airport which cost around £22 and took approx half an hour to the hotel. Walked into the very no nonsense lobby (it is not a luxury hotel) and were greeted by two very friendly receptionists who swiftly checked me in. During check in I enquired how much a late check out would cost and without hesitation they offered me a 2pm check out free of charge which was nice.

I had a HUGE room on the first floor with kitchenette (including microwave and espresso machine), sitting area and separate bedroom. The room was great and very comfortable. The hotel does seem to have a couple quite lively bars in the evening and I could hear the music in my room but it did not continue until too late.

Wifi was fast and free, had no issues.

I went to breakfast in the morning which was around £12 and again whilst not a lavish spread it represented great value for money. Poached eggs etc were available to order included in the rate and also included barista coffee.

The gym at the hotel was very good also.

All staff very friendly and helpful.

Would definitely return.

We are currently staying at Al Ain Palace, so this is a review during our stay. We paid for full board. The full board menu is extremely limited. When I say limited, it’s limited to 3 options at dinner and all of them are curry. Now, I love a curry but not in this heat. So we’ve paid for full board and now having to pay for food. Yes. You read that right.

I will say one positive. The bands at PJs are amazing. Every band we’ve heard so far are brilliant.

We decided to bring insulated water bottles either us as we drink a lot of water. We were told we couldn’t have more water so was told to go to the local supermarket to buy water. Which we did. Whilst enjoying the band at PJs, we’ve had our water bottles confiscated! Outrageous. I’m actually pretty disgusted at this. Everyone needs to hydrate. It’s not enough that we’ve paid for full board and having to pay for food, we’re not even allowed to drink the WATER we’ve paid for! I would not recommend this place, at all. We were actually looking to move hotels the day we checked in but the cost was above what we could afford. Stay away. Stay somewhere else. Just don’t bother.

Worst Service ever encountered.....
Booked the hotel for 1 night. Checked in late evening and asked the receptionist to give me quite room. She has assigned the room road side where whole night u can hear the noise from vehicles.
Asked for 1 bath towel, dental kit thrice to deliver the room however finally came only dental kit in the morning. Supervisor came along with the staff said they do not have any single towel in the hotel.
Another disaster in the morning when I went for the breakfast, 2 employee literally fighting in the kitchen area where you can see from the restaurant. Top of that you need to fill the form to order your breakfast which would have informed at the time of check-in. I could have ordered in the room. I have ordered Masala Ouellette which came to table literally dipped in curry. Wasted money to include breakfast in the room.
Thought to relax on the pool after all this horrific experience.
The pool attendant litterly offended that you are not allowed to swim cause you are wearing a jeans short. He doesn't have any idea what kind of material I was wearing to swim

Booked in for a one week business stay. Overall the housekeeping staff are helpful and friendly.
Severe rain and storm caused a long power outage causing some discomfort but which was out of the hotels management control and not to blame for.
It would have been nice if the hotel front desk had arranged some token small complimentary gift to guests or arranged coffee/refreshments in lobby instead of wondering about in the dark doing nothing during the 6-7 hour power outage.
Room service related to food was good and the butter chicken , beef burger ordered was excellent compliments to the kitchen staff and chef.
Breakfast buffet was reasonable at AED 45.
The mattresses in this hotel however are thin and uncomfortable and well below international standards as I have experienced as a frequent traveller and I had to go purchase a mattress topper just to get a good nights sleep as the front desk management where not abel to provide a better mattress.
The hotel senior management should be made aware of this as for business traveler's a good nights rest is paramount.
