The positives: Great room with sea view. All the staff are very very helpful, the girls at breakfast especially so. Big cheer for them!! Muzaffar at reception is so helpful. Guru at the pool, great guy. A lovely experience. Negative: Pool area is too crowded and a little intimidating with the sun lounges being so close together.

We had an excellent cheese and wine night at The Foundry where we were greeted warmly by Gayan and team and immediately introduced us to the 19 different wine varieties we could try for the night. The cheese board served was excellent while the bubbly and wine was well-selected and paired. The main course appreciated and the dessert of creme brûlée was well made. Most of all, all of the staff were amazing in service and did well with their wine recommendations.

My friend give us a wedding gift in Souther hotel to spent our honey moon.. the room set up when we arrived had a beautiful set up perfectly for honey moon. The staff are so accommodating and approachable.. Ahmad from front desk and Faith and Anna from blu sky are to accommodating.. and Claire from M1 the foundry, she is too approachable and professional. Hope i can come back again.

We stayed for 2 nights in a very posh room with a partial seeview and city view on the 25th floor. There are 6 super fast elevators, so you can get from top to bottom in about 10-15 seconds. The gym is well equipped and open 0-24, the staff was very kind and helpful - especially Muzaffar who directed us to take bus 94 to get to the Grand Mosque that google maps did not offer and saved us from walking a large distance. The pool area was clean never crowded, there are convenient sofas and sunbeds, lounge music is played, however it was a bit windy (maybe it's because we stayed here in March). We had the smallest room available but still it was very nicely furnished, spacious, clean, the beds are super comfy. Overall the hotel provides a lot especially for the price we booked, so I would definotely recommend this place for both shorter or longer stayes.…

Very nice hotel to stay I have been here for more than 3 months, the staff very friendly the food and beverage is very affordable, the breakfast is very good,the front office staffs very helpful,specially to manager Mr mahamed maksoud he is very kind to the guest.. The pool bar staffs also very kind and very active all the time specially to Mr Bob and Guru I love the vives of this team very talkative and polite as well.. I was stay at longtime at southern sun, hotel location is easy to reach out anywhere. My fevevorte place at steam room and pool near with bar. Lots of bar and restaurants are here for enjoy.. My room is well maintained by house keeping team every day. Cleaniless and guest comfort are amazing. Special thanks to dharma And waseem who clean my room. As well as lakmal always visit my room after cleaning every day and always take care my room feel make like home. Thank you lakmal and houses kepeeing teal well done.

Nice first experience in Abu Dhabi! The location is good for easy access to the promenade area and central enough to reach everything by uber/taxi. The employees are very professionals and friendly, willing to find a solution and to help you out, from the reception desk to the cleaning staff. They made our stay nicer!
