My wife and I stayed here for four nights in our own apartment with kitchen, separate shower, toilet, dining room and bedroom. The place is very attractively decorated to the point where we took photos to inspire our own interior design at home! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It can get a bit cold but there are a...

this place is charming and the people are nice but it is far away from everything else. The bed in our apartment was so terrible, we had to sleep on the floor.

We stayed 3 nights on this trip and hated to leave the comfort and beauty of our top-floor flat. My family had stayed here in several occasions previously and raved about the location, service, comforts and breakfasts. The view from every window was astounding. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and the owner and staff could not have been...

Looking at all the positive reviews I don't think I can add much more, but we had such a good time at Hotel a la Maison it would be wrong to not offer praise where it is due. We stayed A la Maison for a total of four nights during our stay in Bolivia and it ranks as one of...

Nice rooms decorated with all types of funny furniture you usually find in a shared students' apartment. Bit of an art touch. You have tea/coffee making facilities in the room and every morning you get fresh rolls on your door. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We had the room downstairs which is a bit dark. However, the upper rooms/apartments...

very friendly reception by owners of hotel that have put in a lot of effort to fill each room with its own unique character. We stayed in two bedroom flat on top floor with wonderful views across the city, a comfy lounge which made a great break from the usually non-descript hotels of the region. Enjoyed it so much ended...

Trip Advisor reviews made us choose this lovely small hotel - and we're so happy we did! It was a haven to rest in after weeks of travel. A place with charm and personality in a great quiet location not far from top cafes and restaurants (La Comedie, recommended by friendly A La Maison owners Ludo and Perrine was absolutely...

Coming from La Paz I knew Sopocachi was the area I would feel at home. Quiet barrio close by taxi to downtown, bars, eating places and the southern part of the city. The service at La Maison was fabulous and Mr night watchman is a lovely man ready to help you!

After two sleepless nights in a central city hotel it was paradise to spend two nights as guests at this lovely hotel. We arrived to find spacious rooms ours was well appointed with comfy bed, lounges, TV. More like a small apartment (no kitchen but toaster, kettle, coffee, tea and homemade jams. Breakfast rolls could be found hanging on the...

This hotel is located in an old house in a quiet, residential passageway. We've stayed at A La Maison several times now and have seen most of the rooms. They're all decorated a little differently and each has certain special qualities. As a couple, we prefer the less expensive $60 room because it's a little more intimate and we don't...
