This hostel has a lot of potential. Rooms are spacious and common areas as well buuut: Seems like the hostel is abandoned at its own destiny. The sponsored jacuzzi outside must be non working since years. The garden its full of trash and lacks of hammocks and other things as showed in the pictures. Lockers at reception are half broken...

Friendly staff. Definitely built for more guests than there where at the time. Jacuzzi wasn't operational. Dorm beds are of the springy type with springs poking in your back. The matrimonial room had a worn out bed as well. I chose to sleep on my own mat on the floor. "Breakfast" is meagre and not worth mentioning. This hostel is...

A bit overpriced at about $32 USD for a double room, but it is in la paz. Lady was quite nice when we wanted to switch rooms about 10 minutes after arriving (window in first room had no lock). Nice, informational staff, one of whom speaks english. Breakfast included is the usual rolls with butter and jam, with tea and...

Good place in La Paz, not very expensive with warm shower, good rooms and kind staff (except may be the bartender). It is also possible to eat there but I have lots of question about the freshness of the products. Both my girlfriend and me and also some others people were pretty sick the night after eating there. And we...

Very average infraestructure with poor breakfast. The beds however are quite big. Laundry is excellent but a bit expensive. Not much of a party hostel either. The bar is not well hosted no one stays for drinks or party.

We stayed in this hostel because there wasn't another hostel with beds available 6h at tge morning. The receptionist was really nice, and he allowed us to have a breakfast even before we checked in. In terms of facilities, the rooms are ok, the bed are very good. The shower isn't always hot, but if you tell the staff, they...

We stayed 2+ 4 nights in Bacoo hostel (if you stay 4 nights the 4th One is free) and had a great stay! The hostel had great wifi, lockers with a plug inside to charge your phone, warm water (most of the Time), spacious dorms with confortable bunk beds. It has also a bar (with a pool table and tennis...

When I went to Bacoo Hostal it was my last option. For my surprise, it was better than expected to me for many reason: The price is fair, if we see the service they offer. The quality was quite high for such a low price (Almost 20 R$/day). The location is adequate, breakfast is good and the staff always were...

Bacoo has a nice chilled vibe, its cheap and the beds are excellent. Breakfast is shiyte but this is the norm in Bolivia (stale bolivian bread, butter and instant coffee). No kitchen - quite normal for La Paz. Awesome hot showers with good pressure. Brilliant Barman - Shaggy is a superstar, cheers for the good times brother :)

From the moment I stepped foot in this hostel, I loved it. It's tranquil, the beds are ridiculously comfortable, everything is clean and tidy, amazing views of La Paz from the top floor, great outside garden area - the list goes on! However, step foot into the bar and discover the shadiest, rudest and laziest bar manager you've ever come...
