We stayed at the hotel cordillera real the day after New Years. The hotel staff was always very helpful. The showers were hot, the lobby is fancier than the rooms. The markets were very close by and lots of frenetic action close by in the streets around the hotel. if you don't want a hostel experience this is the place....

We stayed in a family room on the third floor after a late flight into La Paz for one night to connect the following morning to Sucre. We had the most friendly welcome during check in. The area is a bit gray in terms of security if you are coming for more than 1 night. The hotel is a good...

Aside from the construction going on through out the entire city, Hotel Cordillera Real is in fact a great hotel. They have great customer service, and will help with any need you may have from making local phone calls to even offering some insite on tourist attractions. Walking distance to Wiches Market, Coca Museum, Red Line Teleferico- sky basket, and...

The hotel was very clean. Great price, too. The staff were willing to go out of their way to help with anything. If you ask them to call a cab, they will wait outside with you to make sure you get off safely. There is an older gentleman (the owner?) who speaks English pretty well. Some of the other staff...

We booked this hotel at 8am on booking.com and arrived an hour later to find they had already allocated us a room and we could check in immediately. The owner (or manager, not sure of his role) was incredibly friendly, making us feel very much at home during our 4 night stay. Without prompting he mapped out some tourist highlights...

I was a solo traveller who don't speak Spanish. You could imagine how desperate I was the moment when I got robbed by a gang in La Paz which I lost all my credit cards, money and passport. When I got back to the hotel, the front desk staff immediately called the Manager who assured me that I would get...

We stayed here about 5 nights while seeing La Paz. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and there is a nice family atmousphere. The room was cosy with bedside lamps and tv. The hotel is among other things close to the witch market and the red cable car going to El Alto.

Very basic rooms some of which I suspect are better than others. This review is based on a room facing the street so is almost certainly worse that those internally facing. Noise, noise, noise. Given there is no a/c or fan, the only way to maintain a reasonable night time temperature was to have the window open. That means being...

This hotel is located in the centre of La Paz. It is owned by a very friendly family, who will try to do everything they can to make your stay an agreeable one. The rooms could be refurbished, but for the price and the location, they were good value for money. All amenities and rooms were very clean.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, also speak good English. Excellent customer service. They gave me a local map, showed me where everything is and where to go. I had a problem with the shower, and they fixed it in no time. The hotel is fairly close to the central tourist area - about 10 minutes walk. The room...
