This hotel is not walking distance of the major tourist sites (Candelaria neighborhood), but taxis are easily hailed, and the hotel usually has a taxi or van available out front (note: these will probably charge you slightly more than hailing a taxi yourself). The rooms are large and comfortably appointed. What makes this hotel a standout is the super attentive staff. They will attend to your every whim. The hotel restaurant/bar serves good food at reasonable prices.

I picked Estelar Suites because of its location and the positive reviews it received. The hotel did not disappoint. The location is perfect within the Chapinero area of Bogotá, close to bars and restaurants, including a very good one just across the street. The room was huge, with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. Breakfast was served daily and offered a wide variety of food options. The reception, restaurant and cleaning staff were very friendly. Reception staff happily booked a taxi for me and informed what the fair was and to not pay more than that amount. Chapinero is not close to the historic centre of Candelaria, but at all times I felt safe; day or night. My only negative is that the responsiveness from back of house to emails was inconsistent. This last tip is for the area and nothing to do with the hotel; watch the footpaths, they are a little broken. I would happily stay in this hotel on a return trip to Bogotá.

Spent three nights at the hotel with our two little boys, staff were helpful and the breakfast was great. The hotel location is central to all sites you want to see via Uber and the area feels safe to walk around during the day. Indira and Andrea were great at breakfast.
The only negatives were the coffee at breakfast was pretty bad and the room was a little stuffy with no fresh air and very little light but we didn’t spend much time in there. Also the hotel was not responsive to any questions before we arrived over email, we ended up talking to the central office instead.
We managed to use the gym on site, there is a supermarket a few minutes away and lots of restaurants nearby.

Incredible. The stay was amazing and very well priced, the pillows and bed were very comfy to the point where I fell asleep in 5 minutes. The breakfast is worth the price of a 5 star restaurant with exotic fruits like pitaya and has all the food you could wish for. Deserves 6 stars.

Great experience from arrival to breakfast buffet to quiet nights sleep. Attention to detail and a “let me get that” attitude by employees predominated. The rooms are spacious. I was given a suite which could have held any entire family easily. Unlike some newer hotels, the bathroom had a large soak tub.

All of the hotel staff were very friendly from check in, to helping bring our suitcases in and breakfast staff were also very attentive and helpful. The check in was easy. Our rooms were very clean with good sized beds and good breakfast choice

Some of the highlights of our 5-day stay:
Excellent breakfast buffet included in the room price. A 2x1 cocktail 6:30-9:00 pm Thursday - Sunday. Large hotel rooms (we stayed in a room on the 8th floor with a panoramic view of the city). Luis from the restaurant/bar —charming. Across the street are 3 hip wonderfully creative restaurants. Make reservations to guarantee a seat for dinner at these hot spots. This was our first trip to Bogota. We’ll be back and will stay at the Hotel Estelar Suite Jones again!

Great location in the center of everything exciting and happening. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The room are larger than most hotel rooms (2 full size beds, sofa, desk area, entertainment station, and ample storage with refrigerator)

It’s in between the two destination neighborhoods, as a solo traveler I regret not booking closer to the action. If I had to do it again I’d book old town and find easier adventures from there. Room service is over priced but WiFi and staff are top notch

This is my second time here and I would stay again. The place is always, clean, quiet, with very friendly and hospitable service. If I return to Bogotá I would stay here again and free breakfast that they have for free every morning is

During my stay Bogota was neither hot nor humid so AC would be redundant....from my understanding the temperature is moderate there year round......
