Back to one of "My favorite" hotel(s) in Bogota. This time, excellent customer service from "arriving" to "leaving". Great to see they wonderful hotel is back to the kind of service expected at a Hilton Hotel. Great service at the front desk, Jaime, Andres, Selina. The restaurant, Edgard, and his team (Juan, Sebastian, Alexander).
I was truly glad to be back at this hotel, and more than anything, to have the feeling of "being at home".

Very convinient location, just a mile or so from airport. Free shuttle, coming every half an hour. Beautiful 10 stores hotel with restaurant, gym and sauna, modern design, spacious and very clean. Staff is extremely friendly. I checked into the hotel very late after a very long flight, and the receptionist Jairo was not just a super professional, but also made me feel very welcome and at home, and this is a very valuable quality for the receptionist! Room cleaning is exceptional. The gym is not very large, but equipped with new treadmills, very clean, unobtrusive and pleasant music sounds. Breakfast is very generous, good service, excellent coffee and very friendly staff. Special compliments to the chef in the restaurant. So far I have had dinner twice, and the quality of the food is amazing. Bartender Diego definitely likes his profession and very good in it, I was very pleased with his advices on wine. And last but not least, I did not expect my room to have a spectacular view of the Andes Mountains, and this made my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn unforgettable.

As a permanent resident of Colombia I travelled to Bogota via a repatriation flight in late June. Upon arrival I was required to isolate for a period of 14 days due to the Covid-19 pandemic prior to proceeding to my city of residence. I could not have chosen a better place to do so than the Garden Inn.
The hotel offered a quarantine package which included a standard room, three meals per day and was tax inclusive at a very reasonable rate. I spent a bit more for a room with a balcony, to enjoy the afternoon sun and fresh air during my confinement.
The room was nicely furnished, the bed and bedding quite comfortable, and the blackout curtains probably the best I've seen. The internet connection worked well during my entire stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find the room equipped with central heating, a rarity in Bogota and very nice on those cool mornings when temperatures sometimes drop to 9-10 degrees C. My only complaint is that the reading chair was too uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time.
Since I was confined to my room I was entirely dependent on room service. Maria Eugenia, Edgar, Alexander, and Juan Carlos diligently called for my orders and brought each meal in a timely and courteous manner. Thank you all!
Also thanks to Adriana from the office who stopped by every couple of days to check on my needs.... coffee pods, bottled water, towels and the like.
In sum, I will most likely stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Bogota.

Hotel has excellent shuttle service from the airport. Hotel very clean and good laundry service. Breakfast included was really good, ample and fresh. I had both lunch and dinner here in my 3 night stay and all food was well prepared, a rarity for hotels. Rooms large with large bathroom. My two complaints are: 1). Shower Pressure - I was on the 10th floor and it was awful. Did not help they had one of those "rainfall shower heads". Those are worthless especially with low water pressure. 2). Hotel Taxi Service - The White Hotel Taxi's out front are a Rip-Off. Took one of them to the nearby shopping center 5+ minute ride. Cost was about $6.oo Dollars (no meters in the hotel taxi's). On the way back I took a Yellow Taxi (metered) outside the shopping center about $1.50 for that ride back to the hotel. All you have to do is walk outside the hotel about 30 yards and catch a Yellow Taxi on the street. I know the hotel will tell you "that the hotel taxi's are safer", not really true in Bogota yellow taxi's in Bogota are relatively safe. Would I stay here again, Probably. But also at the Marriott Courtyard which is a little nearer to the airport and has good water pressure though their food is not as good.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was pleasant. We appreciated that you needed to scan your room key in the elevator in order to go to your room floor, and it did prevent others from pressing buttons where their room wasn’t located. (We saw this first hand as someone tried to help us by pushing the button for our floor, but the button didn’t light up until we scanned our room key). The transportation to and from the airport was also appreciated as this led to a stress free stay when traveling. One thing to note is the shuffle runs every hour and it seems as though they have more than one shuffle available for busier periods (as we took a 6 am shuttle and it was full of people and they had to have another shuttle due to demand). They also had a few taxis available to take guests to different places in the city (a nice perk).
A few of the downsides to this hotel are that 1) there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance (there is a bakery down the road and street vendors nearby, but it’s a longer walk (10 min plus) to get to a restaurant) and the hotel staff really weren’t helpful when we asked for suggestions other to tell us to eat downtown or to walk to the mall. So if you’re not really wanting to hike or travel to the center, you’d need to order room service (I didn’t even see a menu in our room for this) or order delivery (same deal - there was no information available about what restaurants might be able to deliver to you). 2( the breakfast price of $11/pp seemed steep for breakfast in Colombia (most other hotels we stayed at included breakfast in the room rate) 3) the location is near the airport but it’s also at least a 20-30 minute (or more) taxi ride to see any attractions, as it is far from the city center and thus traveling back to the hotel at peak hours will likely take forever due to traffic.

We have booked a number of overnight stays in 2018 and 2019. In 2018 we had a good experience with this hotel and their staff, but our last booking/overnights in December 2019 were poor. The quality of this hotel, in contrast to 2018, has deteriorated. The new staff we have met in 2019 is very unfriendly and not professional. One of the employee has made a lot of mistakes in the overnight rates in our reservation. Before I started paying with my credit card, I noticed that the total price was almost 300,000 pesos more than what it should have been. I complain and the employee made twice a correction. Cleaning/housekeeping in our suite was just bad. We complained and they moved us to another suite, but it was also poorly cleaned. As a guest in a hotel, it's not ok to only complain, because you want to relax and have fun in your holidays and not constantly complaining.

This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family!
I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad.
You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories!
Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. <3

The bus at airport is at door 1 across the way not labeled but you can ask as I did. Pretty quick ride. Front desk a bit slow but only because they had trainees so that’s understandable. You can arrange with them the COVID testing just make sure to get the persons name and phone number incase you don’t get the results in 4 hours $110 pesos not sure what that is in dollars they come to your room. Tours depends on what your doing you can do it with the agency they recommend a bit expensive but good. But the drivers from the hotel also do tours they take you to the main attractions for a cheaper price still safe. The driver took me to Monserrate and waited for me you pay hourly not expensive at all. The front desk doesn’t really advertise this but they should. My drivers Leonardo and Hector were knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and I felt safe with them. And my favorite person was Eugenia I met her at the bar and then at breakfast she was friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, she offered information she was so nice!! Customer service at its best! Hilton you have an awesome employee!!! I was surprised how awesome this Hilton inn was only because it was outside of the USA I probably expected less but seriously this place was awesome. Close to everything I needed. I will definitely stay there again!! Eugenia you rock!!

My mom and I stayed here twice in the past couple weeks and had a pleasant experience each time. The first time, when we first landed in Colombia, the shuttles had stopped running so we had to pay for an uber to the hotel. The hotel had not informed us when booking that the shuttle stopped at a certain time. As a result they gave us the 15 USD that it cost to get there and were very accommodating throughout.
The staff were very courteous and were able to help us set up tours of the city and gave us suggestions on things to do. The rooms are nice and modern, great room service a bar etc etc.
On our second stay, for some reason the guy at the desk hadn't put us in the system for another reservation, so when we got to the hotel they had no room. The manager was able to make an exception and get us a room for the night, albeit at 20 bucks higher than our original fee.
The hotel being so close to the airport is a plus, and ubers in Bogota are extremely cheap so getting to and fro the city centre or nicer areas aren't that bad. I highly recommend this hotel if you're a hilton honours member or looking for a nice and affordable experience.

I missed only one afternoon from my room between 9-16:00, while housekeeping was inside, 100€ and 300$ (American dollars) disappeared from my room. Reported to reception, they reimbursed me 2 nights (125$) and offered other 2-3 nights for free, couldn't stay because I was traveling for work. It wasn't the first time happening that in this hotel. My bad that I haven't used the seif for my belongings, but I didn't expect it to happen in a 4 stars hotel. So if you're traveling here and think to choose a better accommodation, more expensive because you think is safer, it's not. Many thanks to the staff from the reception, security and head of housekeeping for the effort in resolving this. Only one person went inside my room, seen on camera, but unfortunately this person was out of shift when I returned at the hotel. Nothing else could have been done.

Dear Cristina. Thank you for your comments about your recent stay. We are very sorry to hear that your experience did not provide you with the quality of service you deserve. This is an isolated case that is being managed and investigated by the hotel's senior management. However, it is an issue, which must be investigated in detail in order to avoid injustice to any person. Hi there. Shuttle comes every hour to the airport, I think it’s gate 5 or 6. There is two shades where you wait for the hotel shuttes. Wait for that van it should be at the airport around 10 mins pass the hour. E.g. 9.10am or 11.10 am I mean it doesn’t take long from the hotel to the airport. Pick hours would be dealy. Hope you see this on time
