I have been travelling around South America, usually touring females that want the safety of a man around, or couples who want the same, so they can just enjoy. La Playa has a kitchen to use, and if you are like me, I love cooking the people I'm touring around for. (Especially breakfast, that way they can relax and get...

I spend just one night for a stopover in that hostel. I slept in a 5 bed dorm. And it was really clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. That is why I think the price is good for Bogota. I just give 4 instead of 5 stars, because nobody was able to speak English and actually a breakfast...

I have been to this hostel a few times over the years and always I am treated super nice. I recommend getting a double bed shared room or single bed with your own bath. It's not expensive by any means and definitely worth it. The only gripe I have is that it's not too near the major tourist spots but...

The Hostel is nice. The staff is very helpful. We got a private room. The bed is not that big but it's okay. The shower was a little cold sometimes in the morning, but worked well in the afternoon/night. The neighborhood is quiet and you have less options to go out for dinner for example. But it forced us to...

We stayed at La Playa for 3 nights. Got to Bogota really early in the morning and when we requested a room, we got one, which was very nice Pro: - The girls at the reception are extremely helpful. They helped us make numerous phone calls to the migration office to straighten out our Visa situation. Also, spoke to many...

I think this hostel is on to something, but they haven't quite figured it out yet. The staff are all nice and the place is secure regardless. If you're willing to take a step away from la candelaria and get a little deeper into Bogotá and find some peace too, this is a nice place. I really like the neighborhood...

We only stayed one night but the staff were wonderful with suggestions on what to see and how to get there. Room was clean light and very comfortable. Nice walk into the old town and several places to eat or have a coffee if you did not want to do it yourself. Good wifi. Would stay there again
