NH WTC Royal is one of seemingly dozens of NH properties, all of which purport to be 5-stars by Bogota standards. I found little that suggests otherwise at the WTC Royal property.
My room was fortunate enough to have a tremendously large balcony on the 2nd floor, a comfortable bed, and a shower with medium-strong water pressure.
The staff was incredibly accommodating, and I have to give 5 stars just for the Mezzanine area working space, which was comparable with a major airline lounge.
Near to the hotel are several great restaurants, grocery options, and banks. There is even a Starbucks attached to the hotel. There isn't much more you can ask for!
Two things I recommend for the hotel to consider are to update the towels in the hotel, as they are not super fluffy. In addition, the pricing and options on the breakfast are not very clear, which caused some confusion around pricing, but which was resolved.

I normally never leave online reviews after my stays but during my last trip to Bogota I stayed at the NH WTC Royal hotel and the entire experience was more than awesome. The food is excellent, rooms are very well sized and perfectly cleaned and lastly and most importantly the hotel staff is AMAZING. Jose Rojas from the reception desk was so servicial and always willing to help when we had questions about the area, where to go, where to eat, etc. He deserves recognition!! Please remember great employees are hard to find.

Located in an upscale residential par if the city, walking distance to a few restaurants as well as zona T- a shopping zone with some of the best bars and restaurants in town. Half an hour drive from La Candelaria - the old city center, but taxi in Colombia is cheap and it will cost you less than 10 usd. El Dorado more or less the same. Polite staff, great breakfast, average rooms but very comfortable beds. Go for it!

We, 3 couples, staid there in 3 suites for 2 nights. The suites were very spacious, clean and adequate, but absolutely no flair. Cold atmopsphere.
Breakfast was very good, big selection, good quality, except for the bread (we Germans have a special view on bread though).
The hotel bar was closed in the evenings.
What we did not lokje was the recommendation to use the hotel taxi service (an exzternsal company). Agreed, the cars were much better, cleaner etc. But the charges were triple to 4 times as high as the charges for a normal local taxi which we had to take once because of the unavailabilty of the hotel taxi. I am actually not complaining about the price, but rather about not having been informed before. We were told charges would be double. But e.g. fror a a pick up from downtown we were charged with the 12 klm from the hotel to downtown depite the fact that the taxi dropped another passenger right in front of us before picking us up.
We think the hotel should better control its subcontractors. Our complaint was noted, but the issue was not solved or even addressed.

I spent 2 nights here. Staff were friendly, wifi worked well. The bed was very comfortable. Location is not great unless you need the WTC, but its about 40 minutes from the airport. The breakfast buffet was ok, but not great. Lots of options, but very few hot foods (and the egg station was rarely staffed both mornings), and the cold items sat out for a long time (dried, discolored cheeses, brown guacamole, etc).
However, for the price, its definitely well worth it.

We stayed here for 5 nights and the hotel recently had reopened. To make this short, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the service was outstanding. All rooms are perfectly appointed and super comfortable. The beds are the best we have ever encountered and the pillows were great too.
A special shout out to Adriana at the restaurant. We travel a lot and she was simply the most attentive and caring team member we have encountered. She has the best personality and customer service. We look forward to coming back. If all businesses took the time to hire personnel like her, I think the world would be a better place. I never write reviews but I had to for her.

I stayed this past weekend and the hotel was awesome, but the greatest characteristic of this hotel is the staff, specially Ms Pinzon who helped me to arrange activities to spend the last hours in bogota.
The breakfast was really good and complete, didn't try the restaurant for lunch or dinner.
The rooms are clean and this is very important for me specially these days. They should get newer tvs, it would be nice to watch Netflix o use other apps while staying.
Sometimes is difficult to get a taxi, you should book it in advance otherwise you might have to wait a lot.

I like the experience. How ever, I think the hot water in the bathrooms was to slow to get hot. The breakfast was very good, the personal of the hotel was worries about get us a decaf coffe every day with the milk that we can take. In general, a very cozy and kind.
