We stayed at the Abadia Colonial for 3 nights. The hotel is very well situated in La Candelaria, two steps from the Botero museum and a short walk from the Gold Museum. Our room was lovely, giving out to a quiet patio. The restaurant is Italian and delicious. The staff most kind and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

As reviewers have remarked, Abadia's location couldn't be better for touring Bogota. We stayed four nights and were pleased with the simple room, comfortable courtyard and lovely breakfast view. The room size is fine for light travelers like us but may be challenging for those schlepping too much luggage. Room cleanliness is adequate but not exceptional. The breakfast view outshines...

As first time visitors to Bogota, we had few expectations, so to say that Abadia Colonial exceeded them isn't to give it credit. We arrived late at night and were met at the door by a lovely young woman who showed us to our room and turned on the heater to take the chill out. The next morning, and every...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late November. The bedroom was very comfortable with a queen sized bed, a desk, a closet, and an attached, small bathroom and shower. We liked the colonial style of the hotel, including wooden floors and a high ceiling with small log framing in the bedroom, and tile floor in the...

The rooms are nice, colonial, nice bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really simple... not enough to start the day. Located on a good spot close to museum Botero. Safe neigbourhoud.

With so many sites to see in La Candelaria neighborhood, this hotel's location is as good as it gets and the very reason it receives good reviews. We stayed for an entire week and felt that it met our needs, but it does have it's shortcomings. The neighborhood is lower socioeconomic with a high security presence. During the day with...

This small hotel is a gem in the middle of the old neighborhood of Bogotà. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. The silent patio where one can rest and drink a cold beer away from the hustle and bustle of the city is priceless. Breakfast is on the second floor with a view of the old roofs is rich...

I stayed at this hotel on the 19th July. I arrived to check in at midday but was told that check in was 3pm. Ok, the rooms were available and had been cleaned but the contract says check in is 3pm so I can understand the staff insisted on the check in time. My expectation is simply that my luggage...

Stayed at this delightful small establishment for one night and was pleasantly surprised.Sra Moreno at the front desk was very cordial and when I told her that I had not taken proper account of the weather in Bogota and so was not suitably attired for that chilly evening she made sure that I had a radiator in my room and...

This is a quaint beautiful and charming little Hotel, with Italian restaurant. The rooms are so charming in the colonial style. Great ambiance. Clean as well. All you need is there. The location is perfect, central to all the major attractions in Bogota within walking distance.
