Excellent hostel, great facilities and friendly helpful staff. You absolutely must do the graffiti bike tour with Carlos. One of the best tours I've ever done. He is knowledgeable, engaging and passionate. He really brought Bogota to life. Being able to cover more ground as you're on a bike means you get to se so much more of the city....

I stayed at Fatima in October 2016. I arrived at maybe 2:30 AM was immediately greeted with a free drink at the bar next door and karaoke night. 24/7 service is very important and they keep their word on that. Breakfast was standard for all hostels. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are small (remember its a hostel not...

For the price this a decent hostel. The most obvious problem is the noise at night. All of the rooms surround the main, and spacious, common area. This makes for a very noisy experience in all rooms from about 8pm to 3am. The echo makes you feel like you are in the party while laying in bed. The bar next...

Hi Jack, since we are a party hostel and we have a attached bar, the noise in the rooms next to the bar is always an issue. Regulations in the country demand that by 3 am the bar is already closed, that being said, nobody likes a quiet bar, specially our guest who are always asking to keep up the...

Nice hostel, very friendly staff, clean and nice atmosphere. There were several problems with the toilets. Furthermore, I asked to move to a lower bed a few times and was told that there are reservations for these bed. It was only after 3 days they let me move (after I told them the beds are still free..)

Hi Dan, we are happy you liked the hostel. About the toilets, we have a cleaning staff that works 13 hours a day but at night it is up to our costumers to keep them as clean as possible until they arrive again, and with 80+ costumers sometimes it gets out of hand. Thank you for your comment. FATIMA HOSTEL

They had some average people working there but at least 3 of them were working in the completely wrong business and should not have been there. Made my stay less nice. Beds was horrible to unfortunately. I stayed in a 6 dorm. Maybe the private rooms are better? Wifi was ok but not good at all. Depending on how many...

Hi Dave, at the moment we are making a big investing in our facilities. We have already changed the mattresses on the private rooms and the dorms are next, so hopefully, if you come back, we'll have newer and better facilities waiting for you. Regards, FATIMA HOSTEL

The best thing we did in Bogota was the bike tour with Luis Carlos. I've been traveling for 6 months now, and one of the things that I hate are organized tours...they get so boring. BUT, the bike tour with Luis Carlos doesn't feel "organized" at all. It just feels like a friend showing you around town. He's super knowledgeable...

Great hostel restaurant/bar and wonderfully helpful staff. The common areas of the hostel are great, but the private rooms are very basic and the beds are pretty uncomfortable. Breakfast included is nice - fruit, toast and coffee. One annoyance is we were relocated one night to their second location (Fatima Suites) since they over booked the hostel. Really nice hostel...

The staff at this hostel are very nice and the hostel is spacious with plenty of common areas however there are a few things that could really stand to be improved. Hi Nicole, thank you for your review and constructive criticism. Like you said, we usually house more than 50 people and our cleaning personal only work until 8:00 pm so after that hour it is difficult for us to keep track of who uses the bathrooms and ths state in which they leave it.
