We had booked two beds for four nights via Booking.com but when we arrived, they said they only had the information for 1 booking, even though at the top of their page it clearly said it was for two beds. Consequently, because they were fully booked and we didn't want to walk 12 blocks to the nearest hostel, the employee...

Nice ambiance with a European touch. Kitchen like at home. Friendly staff. It took some time to adjust to a power cut that last from 3 PM to 1 AM while there seemed to be power at the apartment buildings nearby. Next time ensure the candles are not placed under a matrass. Still I felt best in this hostel after...

Really a beautiful hostel with a lovely garden. The kitchen is nice, the bathrooms clean, and the beds are comfortable enough. Cons are the broken AC and the unreliable staff. Twice during my short stay I arrived at the hostel during the day only to find there was no staff present to let me in (and they don't provide keys...

I have never been to a hostel, where i have felt more safe and home. The owner took very good care of me and my friend on our way from the Iguazu falls to Lima, where we stopped and used 3days in Asunsion - 3 days which i will remember for the rest of my life. You can't be more...

Lovely hostel set near downtown and in walking distance of so much. Rooms were super clean and cute. Small reading and sunning books and the garden made it a tranquil home away from home. Wonderful breakfast included along with use of the kitchen (that needed a bit of a cleaning), and pool. Owners and staff were so helpful, and we...

We stayed at the Jardin Hostal for four days in February. It was pretty easy to find because of the nice painting on the outside wall. We stayed in a four bedroom dorm, the room was very spacious and had lockers but they didn't close properly so they were pretty useless. The room also had a fan that was some...

Arriving at the front door you wonder but inside - an oasis. Nice buzz and a lot of info mined for my trip over to Bolivia. With hindsight all the worry should be over the weather and the state of the Paraguay road (a serious misnomer). Also credit/debit cards are almost a waste of time in Bolivia as it is...

Exceptional service with good information on where to go and w. Very nice common areas including barbecue and self service bar (fridge) where you just write down on a paper what you have taken. Would go again.

I loved the space. The atmosphere in the hostal is great. The days were hot and after getting to know the city I slowed down in the From the swedish guy operated hostal. I relaxed in the pool and also the barbecue made by the staff was probably the best of my life. Needless to say what everybody expects and...

“I stayed in the biggest dorm. It was great, but if you need a plug or a window in the room you might want to change the room. Prices are very close, so not a big issue I guess..”
