We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was great. TV selection is abysmal but the private beach makes up for it. I had a problem with the courtesy of the restaurant staff and had to bring it up with the hotel manager. She corrected the situation promptly to my satisfaction. If you plan on going, be...

My wife and I had just finished a 10 day live aboard diving holiday around the Rock islands and wanted somewhere to stay and relax for a couple of days before returning home. The Palau Royal resort ticked all the boxes for us. Good location with a nice view, rooms were adequate and the staff were helpful and friendly. Shame...

All staff at the hotel did a superb job at being friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable with different bedding configurations, I initially had a twin room but was then upgraded to a room with a double bed. Air conditioning, comfortable bedding, tea and coffee facilities, in room safe, bar fridge and a large cupboard with plenty of storage space...

Location of this hotel is convenient, quite close to airport and the harbor, yet quiet. The building itself isn’t impressive: a concrete structure probably from the 1970-ties, no architectural highlight. The rooms are big and fully equipped, yet again lacking charm and the sparse furniture and the lightning is not very practical. The bed is very comfy, large and very...

Request a king bed if you're in a couple, you'll probably end up with two twins otherwise - can back this up with other reviews here. OK rooms. The TV didn't work, the wifi was strong in the first room we had but in the second it didn't work at all. Bathroom was dirty - especially in the wooden container...

This hotel is heavily geared to the Asian market which is understandable given that it is a Nikko hotel. However, this becomes a little frustrating when language barriers arise which it does with most staff. Trying to get a message through over the phone is nearly impossible. There has not been one instance during our stay when a request hasn't...

This is a very nice resort and even though its on the expensive side its worth it. All the boat tours come right up to the hotels dock for drop offs. The food is great, shops, concierge, pool, and really modern style rooms. I Highly recommend this resort afterall if you flew all the way to Palau you minus well...

This is a fabulous place to stay in Palau and I highly recommend it. They must be in the process of renovating their rooms because we were at first given a very old and outdated room with two twin beds. I had requested a king and asked for a different room, and we were given a new, obviously upgraded room...

I spent two days here-either side of joining the amazing Palau Siren for a 10 day dive liveaboard. We booked in to use the facilities for the day. It costs $40 for the day to use the pools, lounges, beach and access to bars and restaurants in a beautiful setting

Old 3* hotel. Rooms are ok. Restaurant is average in accommodation and needs an upgrade. Wifi is very slow and must be payed for. This is not of this era. Dinner is nothing special. Staff is very friendly.
