The location is on the waterfront and the outdoor areas are quite good. The staff are extremely friendly but lack training so the service standards could be improved. Only one food outlet is available and the décor is quite modern but the kitchen is on a different level and quite far away, as a consequence the food is rarely hot...

The good; air conditioning worked well, the television was great but the reception of channels was constantly unwatchable, the laundry service was good and reasonably priced, the pool was good. The Bad; Poor service and incompetent reception staff who were lazy and unhelpful, WIFI is free but the signal is quite bad and very frustrating if using for work, the...

AUD$200 a night for a poorly cleaned room in a hotel with few facilities (other than the lovely pool) and really poor service. Backpackers and travelling folk not really welcome - they cater to business groups.

Stayed here two nights, won't stay again. Booked one night as it was close to the airport then couldn't make a connecting flight work for the following day so decided to add a second night. Turns out the airport is close to everywhere and the taxis are a flat fare. Stay somewhere nicer! Rooms are a reasonable size but need...

We stayed just one night at the Pacific Casino Hotel. It was a very unpleasant experience. The hotel is tired & worn out in every respect. The shower & bathroom in general was dirty & moldy. The entire hotel had the lingering smell of smoke & in one room we were offered the smell of smoke was so strong that...

We only stayed here as we were put up by Solomon Air as our plane to Gizo was cancelled. Rooms were old but clean and air con worked. If you see the glossy photos of this hotel on the Solomon Air magazine it looks a million dollars but that 's so.

The building is old and tired, probably needs to be gutted and rebuilt. Rooms and fittings are barely satisfactory . . .and I suspect some are not habitable. Carpets and the whole place stink of cigarette smoke. Bars and restaurants are 1960's vintage and just Ok. Staff are operating on ancient service models which involves active withholding of information, and...

Stayed here a couple of times in the past years. The setting of the hospital is unpleasant, loud, and unfriendly. Rooms are old, carpet in the hall smells like vomit. There is a loud karaoke bar adjacent to the rooms upstairs, which plays till late. The rooms are generally clean. Options in Honiara are generally expensive, as is this one.
