Stayed here two nights, won't stay again. Booked one night as it was close to the airport then couldn't make a connecting flight work for the following day so decided to add a second night. Turns out the airport is close to everywhere and the taxis are a flat fare. Stay somewhere nicer! Rooms are a reasonable size but need... More

We stayed just one night at the Pacific Casino Hotel. It was a very unpleasant experience. The hotel is tired & worn out in every respect. The shower & bathroom in general was dirty & moldy. The entire hotel had the lingering smell of smoke & in one room we were offered the smell of smoke was so strong that... More

We only stayed here as we were put up by Solomon Air as our plane to Gizo was cancelled. Rooms were old but clean and air con worked. If you see the glossy photos of this hotel on the Solomon Air magazine it looks a million dollars but that 's so.

The building is old and tired, probably needs to be gutted and rebuilt. Rooms and fittings are barely satisfactory . . .and I suspect some are not habitable. Carpets and the whole place stink of cigarette smoke. Bars and restaurants are 1960's vintage and just Ok. Staff are operating on ancient service models which involves active withholding of information, and... More

Stayed here a couple of times in the past years. The setting of the hospital is unpleasant, loud, and unfriendly. Rooms are old, carpet in the hall smells like vomit. There is a loud karaoke bar adjacent to the rooms upstairs, which plays till late. The rooms are generally clean. Options in Honiara are generally expensive, as is this one.

First the good bits - the room was secure, newish, (sort of) clean and had good air conditioning. There are 20 TV channels and restaurant options on the property site. The restaurant food ranged from reasonable to inedible. Not so good was the seriously mouldy ceilings in the bathroom - a kaleidoscope of slimy green and blue had overtaken the... More

I stayed there for five nights for work. My room was on the second floor and on the main road side. It's a bit noisy but not too bad. The thing I like the least about the room were the smell of people's smoking, especially at night and the light, which was very low in the room, so it's really... More

If pink walls, moldy and fading wall-to-wall carpets (why anyone would think carpeting a hotel is beyond me to understand) and a restaurant blending Pacific aesthetique with Classic European plaster high-reliefs, illuminated by 50 candles imitation crystal chandeliers is your thing, than this is your place. In addition to the above you get being in a paved part of some... More

The only thing good ill say about this place is it had free wifi!! which I always need when travelling. The rooms are ok, basic but at least its clean. The food at the restaurants are not what I would expect for the price it charges. The minibar is cheaper than the convenient store on the ground floor. Location wise,... More

Ocean front with great views of Iron Bottom Sound. Dining experience average but plenty of room in clean airy dining room. Standard rooms are very ordinary. Best to have rental transport but buses and taxis are cheap
