I stayed here several times in the last 5 years. Nice place for short business trips with not too many people (8-10 rooms only)/. In-house restaurant that is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Hotel offers shuttle pickup and drop to airport at a reasonable cost. Wifi is available in rooms and restaurant but...

this was a pleasant surprise. very central and convenient. clean rooms, hot water, air con. super friendly staff. good value. only downside is very little privacy on the nice balconies and walls a bit thin, but for tonga, this was a nice stay. would recommend.

Waterfront Lodge is located in an attractive and historical building that is somewhat away from the main action. It is walking distance to some harbour eateries and drinking places as well as the well-known Billfish Bar... But it is about a fifteen-twenty minute walk to the city centre. Rooms are spacious, the a/c strong, beds comfortable and overall the place...

We stayed two nights at Waterfront and were very happy with the whole experience. The rooms are spacious and very clean, beds are comfy and the bathrooms are large and modern. We walked into town (about a mile each way) along the waterfront. Had a beautiful lobster dinner in the hotel dining room which is a very pleasant spot. All...

Loved it. The easy check in, very spacious room extending onto a roomy balcony, obliging staff made us wish we could stay for more than one night. Such a contrast to our our first visit to Nuku'alofa about 11 years ago. We only had breakfast here but that was good with many choices. Our room overlooked the road and wharf...

Good decor and had a nice vibe - the owner Liz made us feel very welcome, we had arrived early and our room wasn't ready but our bags were whisked away and tea and coffee arranged in the restaurant while we waited. Stayed two nights in between island hops - location was great - a nice stroll into town with...

I stayed at the Waterfront Lodge for 3 nights from the 1st November 2016. The staff were delightful and the food was excellent. As I booked at the last minute and the hotel was full, I initially stayed in room 5 with sea views which I loved being able to relax on the balcony watching the boats coming and going....

A delightful hotel with lots of character. We had an upstairs room with a balcony overlooking the waterfront. Our room was very comfortable and clean. But the best part of our stay (we stayed two nights) were the friendly and welcoming staff who greeted us so warmly each day. We had delicious meals in the restaurant and especially enjoyed the...

Absolutely love the Waterfront! It has a great atmosphere, great service and amazing food! What more could you want? What's also incredible is its progressive menu and willingness to cater for people with special dietary requirements. I often opt for a vegan option and Waterfront nails it every time! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting or staying in the Kingdom🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had 3 great nights sleep here a good place to stay in Nuku'alofa. Older building but very comfortable and inviting. Complimentary breakfast was excellent and served in the restaurant, much better than the usual uninspiring buffet. Also had excellent evening meal in the restaurant. Liz and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would be great if they had...
