Opened in April 2012, Nasama Resort is a serviced apartment complex that offers deluxe self-contained beachfront accommodation. Its location oceanfront in the southwest corner of Efate Island puts it in the path of cooling trade winds in the summer months. Just 10 minutes from Port Vila town centre, it is on Pango Road which is a tar sealed road with easy access to public transport. Every apartment is decorated with style and has its own veranda for guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and panoramic ocean views. It offers the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioner, fan, TV/iPod dock and free wireless internet. Select from 3 types of apartments: studio apartments sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child; deluxe-on-the-water one bedroom apartments sleep up to 2 adults and one child; and spacious two bedroom apartments sleep up to six people. On the grounds of the resort is a beautiful infinity pool and children’s pool leading to a sandy beach with a natural rock pool in the ocean for safe swimming. Covered barbecue facilities offer an alternative to in-room dining. Guests can have fun in our complimentary kayaks, swimming, snorkeling or simply relaxing and soaking up the sun by the pool or on the beach. Reception can also advise and book guests on any of the 40 tours and activities offered in Vanuatu. Surfers will be pleased to know that there is surfing just 5 minutes up the road at Breakas beach. For those in need of pampering, we offer soothing massages to the sound of waves at our beach massage fare. Nasama Resort's own restaurant, Cafe Vila & Bar, was recently opened in December 2014 and is already acquiring a reputation for its wonderful ambiance and delicious meals. It is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner with brunch on offer till 3:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Happy Hour at the bar is from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm daily, extended to 7:00 pm on Fridays.

Food was great at the attached restaurant though a bit pricey. View from out room was nice although the beach was not quite what the photos represented....not much white sand very rocky. Staff were pleasant enough although didn't look overly happy compared to a few other

Hi Midu_11, Thankyou for your review and more importantly thankyou for choosing to stay with Nasama Resort, we value all feedback equally. In terms of the beach, in recent times we've been at the mercy of mother nature with some major weather fronts, and our location on the reef does mean there is a level of exposed rock, however our beach is often commented on positively, we're always happy to take onboard ways in which we can improve our offering. In terms of our Cafe Vila restaurant, it is recognised as one of the better restaurants in Vanuatu, and such our pricing is in line with similar standard restaurants, so our pricing is comparative, but we are excited to announce that in coming months we will be launching a new restaurant onsite that will have more cost-effective price points that might better suit your personal budget should you choose to stay again. Our staff are one of the things most often commented positively on, offering a warm welcome, it's not my experience that we are offering any less a warm welcome or friendly staff than other local properties we strive hard for positive guest engagement, which is reflected in the majority of many of our recent reviews, we do feel sympathetic that it perhaps did not meet your personal expectations and would definitely be open to inputs on how it could of been a more personal or warmer experience, so please feel free to reach out to me directly via the hotel with any specifics that could have helped improve your stay, or the stay of future guests. We do position ourselves as a self contained resort-style property, rather than a full service larger resort concept, and we appreciate you re-affirming that to fellow travellers.

My husband and I were in Port Vila a few months ago and decided to come back with our kids, and we enjoyed staying in this part of Port Vila. The cooking facilities were a big plus for us and it a decent kitchen, the staff are great and very helpful, the only downside was the

Hi Kimiyatravels, Firstly, thankyou for staying with us, we're glad you found it enjoyable and that it met your needs. Our home-away-from-home feeling is something that many guests enjoy, and regularly return for, having the option of a great onsite restaurant, or the ability to cook yourself offers guests a great flexibility. In terms of the passing traffic noise, it's not something we receive comments on, because the rooms are situated well back from the main road, in fact the most frequent comment we get is on the sound of waves on the beach, but we acknowledge for you it was a factor that affected your overall experience. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip to Vanuatu, should you choose to stay with us again.

Hi Tour1442, Thankyou for choosing to stay with Nasama, and thankyou for offering us such a great review, we're glad you enjoyed your stay and chose to share the kind words with other travellers and we can't wait to welcome you back to stay with us. In terms of cleanliness it's one of our bigger strengths, we're sorry that it perhaps didn't live up to expectations on this occasion for you. Given the sturdiness of our building, built to stand up to cyclones, it can make the wifi signal in some rooms weak, but yes the balcony and public areas such as around the pool, on the beach, or in our Cafe Vila restaurant and bar are the best areas to get a more robust connection - it is something that we're working on enhancing. Again, thankyou for your kind words and feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip.

Hi TimN01, Firstly a big thankyou for all your helpful points, it's fantastic to see our guests sharing their knowledge to enrich the travels of other people. We're so delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and really do appreciate all your kind words, Our oceanfront suites are particularly popular and we're so delighted you found them so special. In regards to your point on our utensils I will make a note to have them replaced, we're currently in process of refreshing our rooms, so this will be one of the things done in your former room, thankyou for bringing that to our attention. We understand it was your first visit to Vanuatu, but we hope it definitely won't be your last and that on your next stay you'd choose to come stay with us again.
