The pool is green and extremely dirty, air con did not work in our room and the staff were not helpful in the slightest in resolving this issue. Normally a fan would be fine for us, but we travelled in summer and Yangon was extremely hot. For the price I would avoid this hotel and choose somewhere else.

Stayed as part of a group beginning tour of Myanmar. Dirty, from top to bottom. Curtains hanging off rail, towels distinctly grey, shower curtain mouldy. A real shame as there is a sense of grandeur in the building but really neglected. Choose somewhere else!

I stayed 3 nights for holiday. I heard this hotel from a traveler eventually met on airplane. I was completely attracted the word "pagoda view", it has made the hotel special. Everything of the hotel is nice, but everything is old. it must be renovated. In addition, due to increasing travelers who come to Myanmar, supply and demand of hotel...

2-star hotel with limitations for Western business travelers The lobby of Yuzana Hotel is typically socialist style: large without luxury. The check-in was also performed the same socialist way: efficient without warm hospitality. We paid USD 85 per night for a deluxe room which is average in Yangon but surely not a bargain compared with the outdated standards and low...

My trip was a business (tourism) one and we stayed here from 24 - 27 March 2014. Our Arrangements were made by a local tour operator. At the time the hotel was busy with tour groups. If you just want a place to stay, then this could be one of the choices. However some of my personal experiences are shared...

The hotel is pricey since it is old and needs refurbishing. The room is good, i love the wood parquet floor, but the carpet in the aisle really need replacing. The restaurant is ok with average food. What caught my attention are the waiters who looked like they haven't combed their hair! The receptionists are helpful and polite.

Yuzana hotel is about spacious rooms and very courteous service. The cool burma-teak parquet floor feels good on the feet, a pleasant change from the usual carpeted hotel rooms. I wish they would remove the stained carpets from the corridors already. The ShweDagon pagoda is a short walk away, and the view from the hotel terrace is spectacular. According to...

Large rooms equipped with hot shower and good air-conditioner. However, the complimentary breakfast is awful. I've stayed at this hotel twice and the menu hasn't changed. Price is high and subject to change quickly, especially in high season.
