There is a quiet coffee bar and restaurant at this inn. Located outside the busy area of Yangon, it is sited at a residential place. Coffee beer and staples like fried rice appears to be the favourites. Wi-fi was good also.

This review is NOT about the inn but only its garden bar-restaurant. French/Italian cuisine. House specialities: Tajines (including a vegetarian variety) and couscous. Well-stocked bar, fresh juices, lassi. Friendly staff.

We had a lovely stay at Alamanda Inn. Our room was quite big with nice furniture, comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The restaurant is also good but the highlight was definitely the breakfast: great Bircher muesli, delicious crêpe (French pancake) and mini pastries (croissant and pain au chocolat). The staff was nice and very helpful. There isn't always someone...

We stayed at the Alamanda Inn on business and found it a restful retreat in the bustling city of Yangon. The rooms are set around a nice, small garden, away from the road. Our room was large and tastefully decorated with a desk big enough to actually do some work. We enjoyed the warm shower, comfortable bed with a mosquito...

This hotel had a French feeling to it. The staff was wonderful, especially Thu Thu. She went above and beyond in helping me obtain a cell phone that I could use in the country by accompanying me to the Telenor store. On our last day they were kind enough to let us rest in their court yard until we had...

I like Alamanda Inn 8 rooms only clean, calm & colonial style. Gardening is beautiful. Breakfast is good dinner is decent. I dont think staff unfriendly. My opinion they do not know how to demonstrate customer services, that is smiling. I met sincere waitress, helpful receiptionist & guard open gate door in late night without negative response!

We have been to the Alamanda Inn twice now for dinner. The Setting is lovely. The food is fine. We both had the steak this time and were reasonably pleased. The downside is, that you feel as if you are really inconveniencing the staff by being there? Which is a shame and happened on both occasions.

We came her for a dinner (did not stay in the hotel) to get away from the busy venues downtown. The setting in a large garden is very pleasant and the restaurant is nicely appointed. The vegetarian tagine and couscous was of good quality (but at USD 14 this was not exactly cheap by Burmese standards) whereas the salads were...

Stayed 1 night at alamanda inn and had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and there were mosquito nets over the beds. The shower pressure was decent and there was hot water. The wifi connection did not work the morning we arrived but it worked fine after that. Breakfast was good and staff was helpful to grab taxis for...

Just got back from an amazing 2 weeks in Myanmar. We stayed two nights at the Alamanda Inn at the very beginning. What a lovely intro! We stayed in a family room (two adults and an 8 and 10 year old) which was very nice and atmospheric... think timber furniture, high ceilings and mosquito nets. The bathroom was basic but...
