Stayed in a private with ensuite and aircon. Really comfy and large for the price ($39 USD per night!) Was on the 7 th floor though so be sure to be ok with climbing some stairs! Great location. Quiet and clean. Breakfast was yummy and generous. I had difficulty paying for a domestic flight online but the staff made all...

The dorm is nice and huge. Still, it is clean. People were very friendly. The price of the dorm was one of the best in town when I was there. The location is great, in the middle of the city and easy to go anywhere. Nice to watch life in the city from the windows of this building. Great street...

We had a brilliant room with a balcony overlooking the street across from a gorgeous old colonial building. It was spacious and clean with all the hooks and shelves and places to put things you needed. And a fridge - and helpful staff. We loved it!

We started our travels in Myanmar at Chan Myae and it was a good place to start - the staff are lovely, really helpful and really friendly. We booked our bus tickets at the guest house. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. There weren't any external windows, but compared to other places we stayed in Myanmar it was pretty...

We had a great time at chan myae. The location was close to sule pagoda and other attractions as well as good places to eat, everything from street food to restaurants. The staff was very helpful organizing taxis, bus trips, providing suggestions and directing us as needed. We had a late bus trip out of Yangon and even though we...

This hotel is very well situated in the middle of downtown not far from the train station, and far too by taxi to the main pagodas. The staff is also very kind with a welcome drink. The atmosphere is cool and friendly, and all is clean for a guesthouse. We could even take a shower after checkout and before taking...

Chan Myaye was a good choice for a fairly budget guesthouse in downtown. The location was great - a short walk to Chinatown, the waterfront, the train station and the markets. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit and buses to take. The room (a private double with bathroom) was big and had all the necessities, although...

Room on 8th floor, with shared bathroom. Asian and western toilets and showers. Staff helped with taking up bags from the 3rd Floor reception. Good breakfast. TV with only 2 channels Burmese and Korean, aircon leaked water, the room was very small.

I booked a single room hours before arriving at the hostel. When I got there, the staff upgraded me to a double room for the same price of a single room as they had run out of single rooms. The staff is friendly and the room was clean with good air con. The location is central and close to Sule...

This is one of the better rated hostels in Yangon but manage your expectations, it is very basic. I had cockroaches in my room and rattling A/C all night. Still, at least the sheets were clean and there was A/C available. More than can be said for other places in Yangon.
