This hotel is located on the quieter side of Yangon, as tourists we got quite a few looks from the locals of curiosity! Rooms are a decent size however we had an issue with the room smelling of cigarette smoke therefore asked to move. Apparently all rooms are non smoking yet the staff didn't seem to have an issue with... More

PLUS: a Chinese restaurant at ground floor and three more aircon restaurants on the right and left of MGM. ATM is at ground floor. 20 minutes walk to shopping mall. Oriental breakfast at 2 dollars. It is very cheap and delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. MINUS: clean room except behind curtain (see picture), towel was not clean, aircon... More

Value for money so you know what I mean. I booked this hotel for a group of 22 of us who cam to Yangon for NGO work - thus budget was a concern. The rooms at the renovated floors (10 floor especially) was done nice and the other floors had a remnant of makeovers here and there. This is NOT... More

We paid USD 51 per night including a buffet breakfast. The room had one double bed and 2 single beds, a washroom and a small sitting area, and mini fridge. The hotel provided 1 bottle water per person per day, but were generous enough to give us more on request. The room was airconditioned, even though it did not work... More

We wanted a cheap place to stay for 3 nights in Yangon. This place is good for 1 night or 2 nights max. Granted, the water festival creates issues with being able to sightsee with a professional camera. So we were in the room more of the time than usual. But it's just an OK hotel. Nothing fancy or somewhere... More

Not clean, staff has difficulty understanding and speaking English, did not dare try the breakfast, marginal location on a busy street, not very many food choices nearby. What else can I say but there must be better options in town for the money.

Pros: The rooms were relatively clean Pretty near junction square shopping center Cons: Too expensive for such a bad place. We paid about 63 sgd for 2 pax. 40sgd would have been a more suitable price. Noisy at night, karaoke bar nearby/in the building blaring music and dogs barking at night Lobby area, dining area and stairs are very worn... More

We recently had to put our 19 American friends in a hotel here in Yangon. The hotel easily accommodated all of our friends. The location is great and the price was great for Yangon. The appearance of the hotel on the outside is worse than on the inside. My friends just came from Thailand and Cambodia and they said this... More

Yes, this hotel is a joke. only the front of the hotel have been renew, if you look on the side, you can see the old style from the 50's with dust on it. The entrance is on the side of the hotel behind a kind of zinc or steel house, like a shanty house. Strange that an hotel accept... More
