Broken bath. Very overpriced for the region as was all the food/ services in the hotel. Told at check in we hadn't booked breakfast which we had. When we questioned it the reaction was as if we were lying and no apology when it turned out we had booked it! Breakfast not as good as other similar hotels

I arrived in Myanmar and I had this hotel booked. I had a view of the Swedagon Pagoda from my room and it was lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable. The public area was atmospheric, food and cocktails were good. The staff were busy however coped as best they could with a busy Happy hour. The concierge were courteous...

Diana was our waitress at the lobby bar in the hotel, we were very pleased with her service. Her communication skills were very good. She was helpful in telling us about the area and her levels of service was excellent. She made our experience at the hotel very pleasant.

We spent 3 nights at the chatrium hotel and seems as good a base as any to explore Yangon. The hotel is located next to a nice lake which has many restaurants and things going on. As an aside we spent $30 each and went to the cultural show in the palace by the lake, which for Burma is a...

My friend and I stayed at the Chatrium Hotel on three separate nights (none consecutive) during our visit to Myanmar. Each time, we found the hotel welcoming, relaxing, and delightful. Every member of the staff is gracious and helpful, always greeting you with a warm “mingalaba” (“hello” in the Myanmar language). The rooms are good-sized, the beds are comfortable, and...

I have to say I had a great time staying at Chatrium Hotel. They do know how to treat their guest. Especially from the lobby lounge. Thanks to Patrick and team, service was excellent. Also, that guy Patrick never stop smiling and always knows how to and when to serve you. I love these type of people working for the...

This hotel is hard to fault, our room was comfortable, clean and spacious with a bath and separate shower cubicle. The staff were helpful and attentive, meals were good and reasonably priced, with 3 restaurants and the lobby bar to choose from. The lobby bar has happy hour each night with two cocktails for US $7.00 plus a reasonable serving...

We stayed here for our first night in Yangon. Classic hotel. The staff were always more than helpful. We went to the concierge to get him to book us a taxi so we could go and explore the waterfront. He gently suggested that we could get a guide for the afternoon for a small price. Thank goodness he did. The...

The lobby bar is my favourite place for meetings or to work from in Yangon. Sweety, Jimmy and all the staff are excellent and exceed expectations. Many hotel bars in Yangon try to discourage customers from holding meetings in or working from their bars. At the Chatrium they are always happy to welcome customers. The bar also has a great...
