We stayed here for one night when we first arrived in Yangon and it is the perfect antidote to a long flight Staff were wonderful and the building is beautiful, combined with some interesting history and quirks (look out for the T Rex leftover in the trees) The location on the edge of the lake is tremendous and a real...

We stayed here as part of a 2-centre stay in Myanmar and were delighted with this hotel. The room was large & well appointed including use of room safe & wifi. Maid service was impeccable and everything worked. We had a room overlooking the lake which has many bridges/walkways crossing it and a (distant) view to the Schwedagon temple and...

This hotel is certainly lovely, a huge teak building on the edge of the lake and close to some nice restaurants and the Shwedagon Pagoda. Our room was beautiful and breakfast was edible. The pool area was slightly disappointing. The pool is stunning and could be really amazing, but unfortunately when we were staying there was construction work to the...

I stayed at this property twice during my trip to Myanmar. The hotel is wonderful but a lot and I mean a lot of western corporate types. Bit stodgy and overly demanding. The property is gorgeous and from the upper stairwells is a great view of the Great Pagoda! Magnificent. Take advantage of early morning and sunset evenings on the...

This hotel is in an absolutely beautiful location, situated on the lake fronting the lake way walk. Lush landscaping, walkways, a bar next to the pool, and water in the pool is kept at the perfect temperature. How could this possibly not be the best hotel ever?? Well, it's all wrapped up in the almost complete non existence of service....

I stayed at this hotel for a total of 4 nights on 3 separate occasions in April and May 2017. The hotel is very large and clearly takes a great many tour/corporate groups. There are also a great many trainees around (they don't seem to get an actual name badge while they're training which I find a little sad). I'm...

The hotel was nice. Staff in the hotel was kind and always with a smile but spoke really limited English and they are 0% efficient. They have million of workers but they are super slow for everything. Swimming pool was really milky and not so clean. Food was quite good. It could be a perfect place if they improve the...

I recently stayed at Kandawagyi Palace. The old building was appealing to me for a long time, but now I was offered a good deal on agoda. The rooms are excellent, the service outstanding and the friendliness of staff remarkable. The quality of food is not convincing, I rather went out and looked for meals elsewhere, quality and price where...

Ve r y nice hotel in Yangon. The common areas and grounds are exceptional being a former nature preserve. The pool area and outdoor bars are lovely with a great coctail menu. The staff is warm and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were overlooking the lake with a serene view. The bed and linens were very good....

We stayed here for our last two-nights in Myanmar. The rooms were clean and serviced regularly. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Plenty of options, both Western and Asian are also available with the buffet breakfast with different dishes and meals available each day. If you like to keep up to date then they have a collection of international newspapers available...
