We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The hotel room was very spacious, clean and got beautiful reception. They served quite a huge range of breakfast both western and oriental therefore the choices were given. The location wise: It closed to Shwedagon pagoda, the Zoo and Kandawgyi lake. It was quite easy to get taxi everywhere we wanted to go....

Had 4 nights here on tour of Yangon. Recommended by our local travel agent ProNiti. Stayed in Lake View Rooms which were lovely. Very comfortable beds in a nice size room. With great Lake views. My wife likes bird watching and she really enjoyed the trees/Lake for that reason alone. Grounds were nice to relax in, lovely pool area, and...

We had a 3 night stay here end of Feb, lovely large room with interesting décor, no sign of corporate blandness instead charming, individual and airy. Lovely gardens and pool area, interesting dinosaur to keep you company at breakfast, there was history in the walls here. Breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly, cocktails good too. A walk along the boardwalk...

A truly beautiful venue, with classic colonial architecture. Great views of the adjoining lake and boardwalk. We enjoyed wandering the grounds and taking in the ambience. They include free breakfast and WiFi.

We love the 6 nights stay at room 414 Kandawgyi Palace's lake view room on the 4th floor. Breath taking magnificent ShweDaGon Pagoda view is thru out the corridors. I am originally from Yangon and this is a rare find 4/5 stars hotel offers resort like ground in the busy city with matured trees and green canopy. The city has...

Just booked 2 nights at this hotel due to its location and decent reviews. The grounds are well kept but the pool is dirty and cold. Nice lake side view but if you have a room facing the lake, don't think for a second you will get a good night sleep. 4 a.m, there comes the blasting music from the...

We stayed here 3 nights at the beginning of our Mayanmar tour and 2 nights at the end before leaving the country. The hotel is constructed in typical Burmese style. Everything is a little bit old fashioned but the quality of service remains on top. The seats in the big beautifull lobby look a bit old and used and should...

Situated on the lake this is beautiful inside - traditional with lots of wood. The room we had was spacious with a decent bathroom, only problem was that it was on the roadside which was noisy ( worth paying extra for a lakeside room if you are thinking of booking). The staff were very friendly and helpful (as they were...

I would say this is one of the best 5 star hotels in Yangon. It's location next to the park makes this hotel much more attractive, as it is connected to nature. The hotel room is OK but the F&B outlets and spa are excellent. It's a good place to relax, connected to the nature and at the same time,...
