Bike World B&B is a unique place to stay not only for bikers. The home-like atmosphere, friendly staff and owners and excellent location in a quiet neighborhood but close to the center will help you making the best of your stay in Yangon. I should also mention pizza which is the best we had in Myanmar. It is made in...

I recently spent 5 nights here at the end of a month working in Myanmar. I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses in Myanmar over the past 3 years and this is easily the nicest and most comfortable place I’ve stayed in. It is clean, quiet and comfortable with lovely staff. Don’t be put off by the name ‘Bike...

I stayed there for a few nights at the beginning and end of my two week tour in Myanmar. Great facilities for bikers with a fully equipped bike store nearby. While expensive it was well worth the expense for me because I was confident that: 1. I could store my bike box there while on tour. 2. I would quickly...

My first stay with Auntie Soesoe was back in December 2012, and does it not say anything when I chose to return to Bikeworld for my second stay? Sure, Bikeworld may not exactly be in downtown Yangon, but cabs are inexpensive and aplenty in Yangon so it isn't a problem. Auntie Soesoe doesn't skimp when it comes to comfort. The...

We stayed here before flying out of Yangon as it was close to the airport and Soe Soe kindly provided boxes for our bikes which we needed to package for the flight. Soe Soe was incredibly helpful during our stay, printing multiple visa documents, and fosters a warm and caring environment - giving me wonderful tea for free. We stayed...

Although we did not stay here, we rented bikes from them for about a week. Jeff, the owner, a former Aussie, and his wife, were both exceedingly friendly and easy to deal with. The bikes were mountain bikes which were perfect for exploring the Yangon area (we stayed downtown.) We probably rode about 25 to 40 miles a day and...

Spacious rooms and very generous breakfasts. Couple built the property which is next to the Swiss embassy and are very welcoming. The location is very safe as it's near several embassies and luxurious homes! They have expats who are working in Yangon so in the evening they'll have a chat round the table in the courtyard which I was invited...

Only, and I mean only, stay here if you are planning a major bike Trek. Otherwise you have wasted your money. It is double the price of most hotels throughout the country. It is in the back of beyond, behind a razor wired gate, in a compound. It is an overpriced backpackers at best. Yes, they do pizza that is...

We stayed at Bike World for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! Soesoe and Jeff are great people. They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. If your lucky enough to reserve a room at Bike World, take it! The location: BW is located off a quiet road and is so peaceful. There are several restaurants within...

O my, where to start! What a wonderful, welcoming and warm place. We just loved everything about it. Breakfasts are amazing: loads of fruit, good coffee (!!) and fresh bread (yum!). The Friday bike ride was a thrill and it was great to have a chat with Jeff during the ride. Lovely and interesting man! And Auntie Sou Sou is...
