Before arriving in Seoul with my hubby, we did not had much expectations about this hotel. We booked the hotel through Accor Plus after reading all the good reviews for this hotel. And much to my pleasant surprise, this is an excellent hotel with good location and excellent service. The junior suite room we booked was spacious with a great view of the city. It was cleaned and brightly lighted and had all the amenities we need. Not forgetting to mention, the service from the reception team and concierge team was excellent. They were friendly and helpful. As our main transportation in Seoul was via taxi, the concierge team always helped us to book the taxi and made an effort to explain clearly to the driver in Korean our destination. Especially for the two staff Joel and Rok, they were very patient and helpful They just wanted to ensure we arrive safely at the right destination. Hubby and I were so grateful for this. It was indeed an unforgettable stay here in this hotel and surely we were stay here again when we go back to Seoul again in near future…

While on work assignment we lived for nearly a year here. In short, this was every bit 5 star experience. The two bedroom suite room was spacious, well decorated, and had first class amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped for normal living. We loved the double refrigerator and freezer. The washer dryer combo was perfect for us. We loved our friendly housekeeper who was always mindful of our interests. I cannot say enough about the concierge staff and the chief concierge. They were not only incredibly helpful with whatever we needed but made us feel at home. They went above and beyond many times to assist us or to just visit. The Grand Mercure is very centrally located next to Yongsan station from where you literally can go anywhere in Seoul or grab the KTX to travel throughout Korea. Shopping, emart and many restaurants are easily reached within 10 min walk. Fitness Center is multi floors and better than most standalone fitness locations. It is a full service and staffed spa. I simply cannot recall a single thing that we would improve. We will without question stay again…

This is the finest hotel experience I have had after visiting between 30 to 40 nations around the world. Their 2 bedroom suite was not only spacious at an impressive 1100 square feet, but also tastefully decorated. The staff were all fantastic. Joel went above and beyond and was so caring and concerned watching after my 91 year old father-in-law. He efficiently brought taxi cabs to our hotel in a very quick manner. He was always kind, courteous, and pleasant. He is a true and sincere professional.

Great place, super hospitality, very clean place, great front desk and housekeeping. I would especially thank lena lee in front desk and in regards of managing the house keeping Geum Sun Hong is a great person to speak to and she will handle all issues. The women called Choi lan ok is very peaceful and great with all people, she is very kind and used to clean our room every single day with a happy cheerful face. Thanks to all people here they made us feel like home. A special thanks to all front desk working, they served all our needs and in a very professional way.

An exceptional stay at a terrific hotel. The staff are helpful, kind and pleasant. Truly the best hotel staff hospitality I have ever encountered. The amenities, decor, food / drink, housekeeping and guest service were all absolutely excellent. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

My family arrived in recently moved to Korea. Our transition stay was at the Mercure Grand Ambassador Hotel and residence for 2 months, so we had a chance to experience all the hotel has to offer. We dined at the resturant and ordered room service, we also used the pool and the parking. From the moment we set foot in the hotel the staff was wonderful helpful and always smiling and ready to help. Lauren Kim the sales manager was super helpful in extending our stay (3 times) and always asked if she could be of any help. The suite (2 bedroom) was spacious and had everything we could need during our stay. The room service staff were always accommodating with any additional amenities we needed. The bedding were very comfortable and it honestly felt like home. Thanks to all the staff for making our first stay in a new country memorable and joyful.…

Beautiful hotel, large rooms with great furniture and views, and washer/dryer! Gym is top notch, which I value on longer trip. Near Yongsan station, which puts you on Line 1 and easy to anywhere, including airport. Nice buffet breakfast. Only downside is kind of odd isolated location. If you want city life, cafes, restaurants right outside your door this isn't the place, and that might be a fun thing in Seoul.

Grand Mercure Hotel in Seoul has excellent hotel service. Areas where the services are excellent are services at the front desk, maid services, room services, fitness facility, staff at the front entrance to pickup your luggages. The staff here do their jobs well and in a very timely manner, making the hotel guests feel highly valued. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The customer service was amazing!!! Hotel was clean. There is a heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, spa, and virtual golfing. They reception is very helpful and great customer service!!
