I went to Seoul and stayed at the hotel for the first 3 nights here. The hotel is new, but the lobby is small, not too many public seats. It has a cafe that opens until midnight so don't worries if you need some snacks at night. Rooms are a bit small but the equipment is very modern. Especially the bathroom, you can soak in a tub after a day of sightseeing under the cold winter in Korea. The location is not really that good as it takes at least 20 to 30 minutes to get to the center, although the hotel is only steps away from Seonyudo train station. Overall the hotel is suitable for short breaks, with very reasonable prices.

I arrived early and the girl did not hesitate to give me an early check in. I stayed 7 nights. Room was perfect, clean, great towels, sheets and very comfortable, good view. ( 904). There are couple of good places to eat in the neighborhood and convenient Metro in the corner. There is a lovely park a 10 minutes walk.I will sure go back when back in Seoul

Myself, my husband and teenage daughter recently spent 14 nights at this hotel and our overall experience was wonderful.
The hotel is only built around 5 years so is modern and kept very clean. Our room was on the 12th floor and was perfect for us, we had a nice view of the river, beds were comfy and room was serviced daily.
We did not have breakfast included and were glad as we did opt for it on one occasion and it was really not to our tastes and was quiet pricey, most mornings we got fresh juices, coffees and the most amazing pastries and sweet treats from the in house the bakery TousTous located near reception, the staff here are so friendly and helpful and quiet a few if them had good English.
There is also a main restaurant on the second floor serving Italian style food and we are here I'd say at least 7 or 8 nights during our stay as the food was very good and reasonably priced, I would say that even though the titles of dishes on the menu are in both English and Korean the explanation/ ingredients are all in Korean which sometimes made it difficult to order and the standard of English with the staff here was not great so we ended up eating the same dishes alot.
But this was not a big deal and overall experience was fantastic and I woukd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul, also a big plus for us was the fact that the metro station was literally 30 seconds from the hotel entrance, which after a long day of sightseeing was a real bonus.
Thank you to all of the wonderful staff here that made our stay such a pleasure

I downgraded a star because of check out. Before that, everything was good. I got placed on the 13th floor. Room was small but bathroom was decent size. Mine only had a shower stall and no bathtub unlike others. I liked the modern look of this hotel and room.

However, the day before check out, I asked how much it would cost for a late check out. The lady told me 11,000 won per hour up to 4:00pm. So I asked whether I have to let them know in advance and they said no. Just pay later. That night, I decided to ask again and a male worker gave me one free hour of late check out, which was a nice touch. The morning came, and I decided to call them at 12pm to let them know I wanted to extend until 3pm just in case. However, the phone had no English on it. I pressed every button but I couldn’t reach the front desk. I thought that should be okay still, because they didn’t need me to tell them in advance. 1:30pm comes along and I received a phone call telling me latest time to check out is at 2:00pm. That was absurd to me because the previous staff told me up until 4 was ok. You can’t expect to call me 30 minutes in advance and expect me to check out by 2. The lady told me because it was a weekend. What an excuse. The day before, a Friday, everyone knows that the next day is a Saturday but no staff informed me that it was impossible for a later check out. I kept telling her I just simply cannot leave by 2 because I just woke up. In the end, she allowed it, but it didn’t leave a good impression.

Other than that, I will stay again, but will confirm with them to make sure I can check out at a certain time. But another thing, was that the rooms were way too hot. Every morning, it went all the way past 31 degrees. I was sweating every night. Also, the light by the door.. never figured out how to turn it off. Even taking the card key out, the light remained on. Weird

The hotel has a very good location. Walking to the nearest metro station takes only one minute and it takes about 1 hour to the airport and 0.5 hour to Seoul Station. The bed is very comfortable and the facilities are very good.

Located just directly beside Senyudo Metro Station, this hotel provides direct access to most parts of Seoul conveniently. (Approximately 30mins to Gyeongbokgung and Myeongdong area)

The rooms are new, clean, spacious (compared to various other boutique style hotels at downtown Seoul) and well designed; the bed is soft and comfortable; there is a bathtub as well provided.

Staffs are friendly and helpful as well although not all of them are fluent in English.

The price is competitive (much cheaper compared to various equivalent 4star hotels at
downtown Seoul)

There are various eateries nearby within walking distance (Issac toast, Tours les jour, Bonjuk just to name a few)

Senyodo Park located within walking distance from the hotel gives you some really breathtaking views of the river and Seoul especially at night!

Overall an excellent stay, will definitely recommend to others!

Not in the dowtown. But boutique style cafe and room service wonderful. If you wanna real atmosphere of local, the location is good. Furthermore, Sonyou island and Han river is walkable distantance. Specially, island is really small but it has the pretty garden. Subway 9 is just in front of the hotel. You can access easily wherever you want to go in Seoul. Beer bars and coffee shops is easily found. A bit hippster style.

The State Sunyu is right on top of the Line 9 Seonyudo exit 1 subway which makes it very convenient to get to places. The room itself was clean and comfortable. I will come back to stay again when I’m in Seoul!

Check in was quick and easy. The staff was attentive and kind. Spacious room, cute bathroom, beautiful city view, and comfy chair. Bed sheets felt a little rough but it didn’t bother me much. Best stay I’ve had compared to it’s price. Would come back again.

The hotel is nice and modern. The room was spacious (double superior at least), well equipped and clean. Unfortunately it was way too hot (between 28 and 31 celsius) and ventilation very noisy.
The hotel is located next to metro station and bus station. However, the area is not very interesting
