La Casa has always been my go to hotel whenever I visit Seoul. Its small and charming and it's at the centre of everything. However, my recent trip was tainted by the poor attitude of the reception - a female staff who was very rude to me and my colleagues. We were there for work(photo shoots) and had to leave bags and boxes at the reception for collection and she(with another male staff) was grumbling at us for leaving too many parcels with them. They also rudely demand that we need to get them cleared asap. They have never greeted nor smiled at us during our one week stay. Unlike another male fan-skinned staff whom we recognised from our previous trips and has always been nice and helpful. On a particular rainy day, we asked her for help to call a transport and she bluntly turned us down. I reprimanded her for her bad attitude and rudeness and she did not even bother to explain nor apologise. I don't think there will be returning guests with reception that behave like this. Also, the hotel looks tired as wall corners, carpets look to be wearing out. I love the hotel but not anymore.…
The hotel is located in Garosuril which is one of the hottest streets in Seoul as this is the place where the trendiest young generations all gather together. It is also a great shopping site complete with famous brands and the stores of rising designers. Furthermore, it is famous for unique cafes, restaurants and cosmetic urgeries. Along with the good location, it has good view over the Han River and Lotte Castle. Guest Rooms: Queen Bed 1: 26 sqm(east) Queen Bed 1: 29 sqm(west) Queen Bed 2: 36 sqm * Suite: Queen Bed 1: 36 sqm Dinings: - House of Alchemy (HoA, 8F, the lounge & rooftop bar for Dinner) - CasaMeal (GF, for Breakfast) Lunch and Dinner Meeting Room: an optimized space that is ideal for Smart Work.
Meal budget per person (without drinks) Category 1 (under 60000 KRW, 50 USD) Again to Casameal for Halloween Supper. Seems that the Pastas here are addictive for my Children. Along with Ragu Alla Bolognese (20,000KRW) which is Children's favorate, I have Oriental Seafood Tomato Stew Pasta (23,000 KRW), but this time with white wine. This dish is perfect for drinking! To have another chance to enjoy other dishes, I order Quattro Mushroom Truffle Cream Pasra (21,000 KRW). This dish has a good scent and flavor and also matches well with the spicy Oriental Seafood Tomato Stew Pasta. Already enough but I want to try one more, Chicken and Chips (26,000 KRW). It is tasty and good value for the money with the generous amount. As a one more snack eaten with drinks, I order tripple fries (20,000 KRW) but it is so so (maybe I am full enough)…
Recently I stayed again for a week at this hotel and as always it never disappoints me. The location is very nice with fashion street and lot of different cuisine restaurants all located within walking distance. Also is very near to the Highway so you can get in and get out faster. In the evening if you are free than river front is a short walk from the Hotel. Rooms are maintained nice and clean and the staff is very much cordial and professional. Would stay again while visiting Seoul.
It is a cosy hotel in a nice area of the city. Hundreds of bars and restaurantes nearby. Service is ok. I think their people must improve their English. Breakfast was good and they have a bar on the top.
I love this hotel mainly because of the staff which is very kind and helpful. They always make me feel welcome and they even brought me a cake and fruits to thank me for staying with them for 2 weeks. Very clean and the rooms have a nice Orla Kiely pillow cases and bathroom cosmetics. There is only 1 bad thing about this hotel- breakfast. LA CASA please do something about it. We want fresh bread and more fresh products, salad and fruits. This is my 4 stay in the hotel but I am concidering eating out because food is not great!
Far from subway. 15 mins away at least. Has good toiletry amenities. Nice roof top. Good hotel restaurant offering good food. Has convenience store across. Offers umbrellas but can run out. West area is better.
The Hotel La Casa is in a very central location close by to shops, restaurants, bars and public transportation. I stayed with a friend for five nights and our room was the perfect size. Friendly staff and a modern, clean interior. The hotel has complementary water which was a nice touch as well as a rooftop patio and restaurant/ bar on the top floor. Despite being so close to major roads the hotel was very quiet. My only complains was the lighting in the room was pretty dim and the bathroom. Poor lighting as well plus the shower had a very small sheet of glass from the wall to about a foot into the tub so water went everywhere while showering. Good value.
Although is a boutique hotel, they ensure they provide you with all the amenities that a traveller might need. Room nicely decorated. Feel comfortable the moment you step in. Bed wise can be better but really up to individuals.
This hotel is pretty good. The location is great as you’re only a few mins from the airport bus stop and you’re also in Gangnam. The rooms are modern but ours was a bit dark. The staff were all lovely and really helpful. Great coffee shop straight across the road too. The rates are really reasonable so if you’re going to Seoul this place is a good option.
