I had a reservation a dorm room for 1 night. But when i was check-in, due to overbooking there is no bed. I was really worried but Fortunately there is private guest room. So the staff gives me the room. And she don't forgot to say 'you're very lucky!' Was so touched. The room with private bathroom was really clean....

I was amazed that you can get Seoul for this price. Just stayed one night but hope to visit here again whenever I come to Seoul. The breakfast was good. The air near Achasan was fresh. Thanx you, Philhouse~! ^^

the place was clean and big for 2 people. they have everything including washing machine if you're planning to stay longer. The staff was friendly, they even provide us with universal charger for free (since we forgot to bring ours). Worth every penny! :)

I noticed that this guesthouse has some TripAdvisor and Booking rewards, and this puzzled me. I stayed in a single room, so things might be different for dorms, but in my case it was a definitely overpriced normal-looking guesthouse (think around 70$ per night). The room was very clean and had big fridge, washing machine and cooking plates. But otherwise...

I went to Seoul in 2012 and booked a room in this guesthouse. This place is very nice. I love the common room... I went back to Seoul in 2013 and stayed in this place again. I met the owner and he said they have musholla at the basement. I definitely reccommend this place :)

Warm & welcoming place, cozy, peaceful stay & the staff are very helpful & friendly. Away from the busy city but really worth it! Take off at the Achasan station, exit & few meters walk to the entrance! The convenience store next to it really a convenient!

Firstly, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Most spoke good English. Some spoke Chinese too. The place pretty much look like the pictures on booking.com. I booked successfully through Agoda and had no problem (Booking.com redirected me there). Clean and tidy. Many families visited and they had some toys in the living area. Nice area. There was zoo/park on...

The town PhilHouse is in, Achasan, is really accessable: if you want to shop or eat, then you just cross the road. I found a cheap gym close by, which catered for my hobbies too! There is also a mountain to climb close by, which is always great if you are into hiking. The staff are very pleasent and always...

Real close to the Achasan subway station (around 50m) you can find a lot of traditional restaurants and the mountain Achasan (which is great for hiking) nearby. Also the place is located near the Children' s Grand Park and its 15 min walk from Konkuk Uni. Especially clean and the staff is so much friendly.

I just went to Seoul for first time a month ago without any knowledge about Seoul and South korea. This place is so fantastic. seriously... I don't always write a review about something but i can't hold my hand to write an excellent review about this place. The location is only 3-5 minute from Achasan station exit gate. The receptionist...
