We found this to be quite a nice hotel close to many amenities. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a good breakfast selection with an egg-station providing good omelettes. Our first room was on a high floor with a good view over roof-tops towards mountains. This room had a carpet and was quiet. On our second stay (later in our trip) we were assigned a room on a lower floor and facing main street - all was as before but there was no carpet in this room and traffic noise prevented good night's sleep. Also there was a different team at breakfast who were not so good at replenishing.

Our two week stay visiting over Christmas was enjoyable with the upgraded deluxe King size bed. We included the buffet breakfast with our stay. There were 2 bottles of sparkling water and two bottles of Evian water included each day. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh linens and towels. We requested a humidifier for our room and it was delivered and set up for us at no extra charge. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection along with freshly ground bean coffees and juices.

So happy we found this place! Authentic Korean food and such a happy reprieve from the usual deep fried seafood on the strip. Extremely pleasant and fast service- lots of love put into this food and you can tell. Lots of little unexpected extras like sweet potato chips with the beer, starter salad and seaweed soup. The gyoza and dumplings are unreal. We reordered each. I had the spicy chicken and my partner had bibimap. Both excellent and would order again.

Stayed here before we m 2018 and 2019 and the level is surely going down. Room was a bit tired, except for the bathroom and everything seemed kind of worn out.
Problem in the wintertime with many hotels in the region is that they turn up the heat and there is no way to cool the room down. In the 11 nights I spend here the room temperature was a continuous 24 C with peaks above 25 day and night with the climate system turned off. No way to individually control you room temperature. Room was stuffy and could not get a good nights sleep. When I complained they offered me a fan.
Also the reception refuses to call a taxi for you. After checking out they send me out into the street to haul a taxi by myself carrying a large suitcase and other luggage. Not the service you might expect from a hotel like this. Will find another place for my next visit.

We stayed there for a week and was happy with the service. The people are friendly and served with a smile. The room is small but comfortable. Location is good if food is what you need. Just 1 min walk from hotel (directly at the back) is a whole street of restaurants and cafe. There is a small shop that sells delicious and cheap ramen for breakfast early in the morning. We have no regrets staying here. This is a good business class hotel. However I really regretted moving to The Lexington Seoul which is across Mapo Bridge after our visit from Jeju. If Holiday Inn Seoul wasn't fully booked at that time, we would definitely continue our stay.

First of all this is not a city centre hotel, but with efficent subway system in Seoul, commuting to Myeon dong is no problem and cheap. Also on my way to this hotel in my first night after a tiring delayed flight to Incheon, the airport express bus (City-bus run shabby "limousine" Not the KAL Limousine) was frozen in Seoul suburb because of chaotic runs hour traffic jam. Luckily this is the first stop for the airport exress bus. After the driverl make detour to avoid the foreever standing queues of vehicles, I finally get out of the uncomfortable couch way ahead of other passenger going to town.
Others:
room is standard, aged Holiday inn chained hotel Not matching as good as other Asian blended US chains.
Restuarant seving western food is fine but not inexpensinve, In addition lot of Bulgogi (Korean Grill beef) shops around make restuarnt quality not essential
Lobby, don't expect much.

N.B. I was only staying one night 2 years ago as transitional arrangement before I continue my journey to rest of Korea. The basic "superior room" only rate with no frills or breakfast.

My stay here was cut short last year, which was right before their big renovation. I was able to come back this year after their renovation and physically, you can see an improvement. Definitely, the housekeepers did a great job and the concierge and the valet/bell hops were nice and helpful. The hotel is in a good location for buses, a short walk to the subways, and taxis were always available on both sides of the street.
The front desk staff were disappointing. We tried to see if we could check in before the official check in time at around 12:00pm. We were turned down. Which was fine. We tried again at 1pm, and we were turned down again. We told them that we would be in the cafe and please get us when a room is ready. No one came to get us. We asked why it took this long and they said there was a large group that left and rooms were being cleaned. I find it impossible that all the dirty rooms were being cleaned at the same time. We were not offered a second key card for the room. I have been to Best Western properties in the States and abroad and I was never welcomed this way. It actually felt like the front desk thought we were Korean natives and we can wait. I didn't feel like they were sorry till they found out we were from abroad. A few days later, when in the lobby to wait for more family, I saw the front desk check in people at 10am. They were even offered a second key card for the room.
I felt like the business men were welcomed more than the average traveler by the front desk. The actions of the front desk overshadowed what the rest of the staff did. First impressions matter.

Followed group tour and stayed in this hotel. Although the location is not in the heart of the city or near major shopping district, it is clean and comfortable for a pleasant stay. Mc Donald's is just located opposite the hotel across the main street and there are convenient stores, restaurants, cafes and retail shops behind the hotel.

Staffs were friendly and courteous. Room was clean, beds were firm and comfortable. Free wifi available in the room. The smart toilet with biget, auto flush, seat warning was very cool ! Buffet breakfast was decent but crowded sometimes as many tour groups stay in this hotel. Complimentary bottled drinking water provided in the room but limited to 2 bottles only. Safe deposit box available and big enough for laptops. Overall, this is a nice recommended hotel.

In such a technology advanced country, wifi should be a standard at any hotel. I love everything about your hotel except for the fact that there is no wifi. Do you have plans on installing wifi soon? If so, I might consider staying at your establishment.
