I stayed at this hotel because it was discounted and after staying there, I realized why they were desperate for guests. The hotel provides some of the SMALLEST and most claustrophobic rooms I've ever stayed in in Korea. We had a double room and another room with two twin beds at over $100. Both were very small, and the bathrooms...

We were flying to Cairo via Auckland with Korean Airlines and this is the hotel they put us in, as our connecting flight was 10 hours later. Was very nice and clean and so quiet. There is not a lot to see in the close proximity to the Hotel, but the subway was close by if you wanted to go...

I stayed in this hotel more than 50 nights in 2009 for business. This is clearly a business hotel: no charm, no interesting surrounding neighborhood... However, the staff is nice, very professional. The best thing of this hotel being its location: 50 minutes from ICN & 15 minutes from Gimpo all by direct buses. Access to all part of the...

We stayed in Garden Hotel for 6 nights,I can say ,I will not stay here in our next visit to Seoul. This hotel is far away from every place in Seoul. It is in Mapo district. There are no good restaurants, cafes and shopping and any amusement around. You have to take taxi or subway inorder to go to nearest visiting place....

In Korea, this is described as a "Western-style" hotel becuase of the amenities. However, not many of the staff speak English and Westerners, especially Americans, are definitely crossing a line by venturing in to the lobby bar/restaurant or 3d floor health club unless accompanied by Koreans. These two areas within the hotel seem to be frequented almost exclusively by locals...

I stayed here for five days and although I was not paying I found it a great place. Free internet is a bonus. It is not in downtown Seoul but in the Mapo district just north of the Han River. You can easily go to anywhere in Seoul on the subway as the Mapo station is only a few minutes...

Room was terrible. Stank of smoke, including the towels. Bathroom was hideous. Food not bad but there must be better options around.
