This was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I was completely spoiled. Room service 24/7 and it's fast. The staff is very courteous and attentive. Very simple to take a walk outside and explore Seoul as you're in the city center. I don't usually stay in 5 star hotels but I decided to treat myself once, and I...

This is one of the most amazing hotels I have visited, within a city environment. The bars and restaurants were very nice and the staff attention was over the top. Now, the rooms were not as amazing as the lobby or the restaurants, but they were very clean and well maintained.

I think the brand of Ritz carlton guarantees that the hotel is one of the best hotels in the city. My first stay at Ritz carlton was so impressed, I choose here for staying with my friends. This is an old hotel, the room is quite old, but it was well-maintained. I had an extra bed in my room, so...

The lobby was absolutely gorgeous and the entire staff was very courteous. The rooms were pretty average, a bit dated like many of the reviews noted here but it was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. It wasn't a spectacular experience, although I suppose that is to be expected. Having gone through the Ritz Carlton "Legendary Service" training and...

Overall I enjoyed my stay there. Since I needed to catch the early morning flight I had to leave the hotel 6am. When I got on the taxi at the hotel, the hotel clark kindly passed a little box as breakfast.

This is where I stay when I go to Seoul. From the check in with James Kim, to Jenny and the entire wonderful staff in the lounge, to Peter at the concierge, there is always a warm welcome and outstanding service. It really is like going home. Undoubtedly, your every need will be cared for, but where it's different is...

It's easy to be a great hotel when everything is going right. However I managed to bust my lower lip while working out. The Ritz nurse took me to the hospital / clinic in the area and had a dental professor stitch me up. The staff at the Ritz went way beyond what was expected to help me when I...

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighbourhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
