Hotel is situated nearby Subway which is only 10 mins away. Connected to Hyundai departmental store and Coex shopping mall. Very convenient with nearby banks as well as lots of eateries nearby. Suitable place for old and young.
I stayed in Grant Intercontinental for 4 days in December 2017 for a conference. All in all, very pleasant experience. The room was very nice (jr suite) and the service was top level around. I did not eat breakfast at the place or dined there,...More

With Marunouchi Tokyo, the best hotel with best service I have stayed. Convenient bus service from/to airport from hotel entrance. Shopping mall, restaurants, metro station under the hotel. Outstanding sauna, gym, swimming pool. Great breakfast.
As a repeat traveller to the city and this hotel, one can not fault the recognition received for being both a regular traveller as well as being a Spire Elite IHG Rewards Club member.
Colleagues always accomodationg and wanting to assist. Special mention must go...More

A large business hub, Samseongdong is anchored by Korea’s World Trade Center, where many important business exhibitions and meetings are held. The enormous COEX mall sprawls underground, providing a myriad of things to do and see, including a large aquarium and movie theater. For a bit of peace and zen, head over to the ornate Bongeunsa Temple which is one of Korea’s most important places of worship. Or
take a stroll nearby through the tranquil royal burial grounds of Seonjeongneung, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If I were you, I'd take taxi. If no traffic, the tax costs less than 10,000KRW (according to Naver map, it's about 6KM, less than 10mins). Black/luxury taxi provides better service but is far less common and costs double. And a big IF her is the traffic condition -- the time and fare can easily go up (even double) in peak hours.
Subway is convenient especially if to avoid traffic hour -- take Budang line from Suseo, transfer at Seolleung to #2 line, to Samseong station; Grand IC is at exit #5. About 5~6 stops total; short ride but with connection.
Another alternative is bus -- many buses run from Suseo to Samseong, if you feel comfortable doing so, or simply adventurous.
