I stayed here for four nights as a single female tourist in September 2022. The front desk was extremely nice! They helped me figure out several things. The area around the Hotel looks a little sketchy but it’s not. It is easy to walk to various places if you are fit. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous! There are also convenience stores very nearby. The room was gigantic!! But the air conditioning did not work well.
We stayed at the hotel for a few weeks with our 1 y and 5 month old baby. They organized a baby crib and have been very accommodating to our extra requests. The staff have been very kind to us and provided good service all around. They have been very helpful every time we enter and exit the hotel. The breakfast is quite good, with different options. Coffee is also good - espresso-based and aromatic and not some tasteless instant coffee. The location is quite nice - it's not that far from Cheongyechon stream or MyeongDong shopping areas. It's between Euljiro 4 and Chungmuro station, so it's quite easy to travel downtown. There is also Namsangol village and the Namsan tower nearby. The room has been comfortable and the terrace view is nice! Highly recommended if travelling with babies in terms of value for money.…
This is a really nice hotel. It has all the things I wanted. This hotel consists of 2 bathrooms, 2 windows, a dresser, 4 or 5 beds and a TV. The windows have a nice view of the buildings and a nice sky. It has great ac as well. I would definitely go here again
Stayed in Hotel PJ for 4 days and had a great experience. The location is very good with access to everything you need within basically walking distance. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean.
We were met with a very friendly staff and they have lovely rooms! (clean bathrooms, aesthetically pleasing rooms, a nice tv!, etc.). Plus the beds are comfortable and the staff speak english allowing for comfortable communication between the staff and customers.
The location is very good for everything you want in Seoul like shopping, food and transportation. We found the staff very enjoyable and helpful with every requests we had. The rooms are great with good and quiet aircondition, very clean with good air and smell. The breakfast is above what you could expect from a four star hotel. Over all a great fit for families and couples on holiday in Seoul, we will definately be back.
I stayed in Hotel PJ Myeongdong 4 days with my husband and 9 month old daughter. We arrived a bit early exhausted after a long trip and PJ hotel helped with early checkin and arranged a baby bed immediately and walked us to the nearest ATM (right across the street) so we could pay our airport taxi. The rooms are very good and clean with a good rug on the floor. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is great. The location is just in the middle of everything you need in short range. Overall very recommended.
Stayed in Hotel PJ for 4 days and had an amazing time. The location was superb with access to everything we needed in close range. Great breakfast and the staff very helpful with every request we had. Will be back next time in Seoul!
Great location with close access to shopping, great food and transport. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and the breakfast above expectations. Rooms where clean with great air, smell and amazing beds. Easy 5 star rating.
My husband and I are staying at Hotel PJ Myeongdong for close to a month. The hotel is great for its location and affordable price, but the service was disappointing for a 4-star hotel, for a few reasons as listed below. Pros: - Location is awesome. Near enough to all the main attractions (shopping street, local food, food markets) and public amenities such as the Line 2 subway. - Convenience store and cafe located right below the hotel and a coin laundry room, which is very helpful for long stays. - Room is a comfortable size, with a bathtub and smart TV with Netflix installed. Cons: - An item of great sentimental value to us was taken from our room (likely during a cleaning round, but this was not explained to us). The item was eventually tracked down and returned to us after two days, but only after we had incessantly called the front desk to ask them to take action. They had initially said it could not be found. - Some cleaning staff would walk into our room immediately after ringing the doorbell, without waiting for a response. - A cleaning staff walked into our bathroom while it was being used (she did not knock before entering) - The hotel gym and business centre are closed (according to the front desk, due to COVID-19 restrictions), which is inconvenient for us as we need to use the business centre to print our travel documents. When we asked the front desk if they could help print the documents for us since the business centre was closed, they told us no. Overall, it’s a good hotel to live in if you can overlook its shortcomings as above, but in our opinion, it can and should do better.…
