A small guest house with nice decorations! The location is very near to subway (Noksapyeong & Itaewon). Very suitable for solo traveler with basic needs but not suitable for family as the staircase is very stiff. For Muslim, you can find halal restaurant nearby this area.

The location is amazing, it's down a cute little lane with lots of boutiques and there are plenty of great places to eat nearby. Guesthouse provides free bread/toast and peanut butter, Nutella etc which is a nice touch but the room needed a really really deep clean. There was no window in the bedroom, a tiny little one in the...

This was my second time staying at this guest house. It's in a great location, right by all of the pubs and restaurants of Itaewon without being too close to them. The room was basic but had everything that we needed. The only downside was that the underfloor heating was always on and we didn't have any way to control...

Its one of the best guest houses I rented. Good service as well as speaking English properly. The place also nice for being close to everything in itaewon all the cafes and restaurants. P.S. I think its good place to stay while you in seoul as backpackers.

This was quite an unexpected find in the centre of Itaewon in Seoul. Having stayed before up on the strip, in some quite nice hotels, I wasn't too sure about moving down behind the strip and going for a guesthouse rather than a more formal hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Pros: Breakfast - self service and just like what I...

We stayed in a double room with bathroom. The bedroom had the basics including a bed, cable TV, wifi, hairdryer and a coat rack. There was no storage for clothing or other items other than a small table. The bathroom is the typical Korean style with a toilet, sink and shower head attached to the sink. The room was reasonably...

Great value! I would definitely come back! If you don't want to spend much and intend to be out most of the night in itaewon anyways, then this is a great place to be for a couple nights. I stayed in a twin room with a friend ~ room was clean, not noisy, and free soap/shampoo/towels available. Location is only...

Like many other reviews for this guesthouse, I found the location after about an hour of going in circles. A big part of that, however, is my own stubbornness and confidence that I can find anything. Once I went back to the Agoda site and viewed the hostel profile, the picture helped me realize that I was standing right in...

Absolutely vile guest house. We should have read the reviews first! This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen and the beds were horrible, too! The management offered to move us to a different room after they cleaned it, and it was still filthy.

From its website, Pop@Itaewon looks quite nice but in reality, it is not that great. The bathroom needs better cleaning and the room is not so clean either. Its best plus is the location on exciting Itaewon road. If you enjoy good foods, nice drinking places and clubs which Itaewon is famous for then Pop may be one of your...

Staying in Itaewon

Neighbourhood Profile
Itaewon
Neighboring the immense Yongsan American Garrison, Itaewon was once shunned by locals as a seedy, red light district. But within the past few years, Itaewon and its surrounding neighborhoods such as Kyunglidan and Haebangchong have undergone a major revival to quickly become one of Seoul’s hottest areas. Here, trendy international restaurants dot the area alongside hip lounge bars and some of Seoul’s hottest club venues. After dark, Itaewon comes into its own as one of Seoul’s top party scenes. The crowd is a fascinating patchwork of all backgrounds and identities, including a small but thriving Muslim community (centered on Korea’s sole mosque), the LGBT community (with a string of popular bars and clubs), and a wide range of ethnicities and cultures scattered around. Those seeking a quiet respite should head towards the eastern end, in Hannam-dong, which not only has one of Korea’s best art museums, the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, but plenty of mid-range to upscale restaurants and cafes.
