First, I must thank Noey, the owner of the hostel for her great service and cozy home. I never fall in love with a hostel so much until I met YOOGINONG GUESTHOUSE. I feel so much at home, in fact, more comfortable than my own home :P Room is basic, but it's OK for us. I like the kitchen the...

This guesthouse is located in a quiet neighbourhood, very good location because it's near to local market and subway station. I stayed here for 4 days and i am very satisfied :) The guesthouse is very clean, quiet, complete facilities. Bathroom amenities are shower cream, shampoo, conditioner, and tooth paste. I'm glad to have booked this place for my first days in Seoul, South Korea. The guesthouse is super clean and cozy. I must first say that my suitcase didn't make at the same time as me. The airport contacted the house and delivered next evening. I got there later than expected but someone waited to great me, very nice...

The owner of the guesthouse is so heart-warming. She welcomed us really kindly. The design of the house is very pretty and practical even though the space of the house is not as spacious as you think.

Über cute, tiny place, that is truly a "guesthouse." This place feels more like my best friend's place. Showers, bedrooms, kitchen, rooftop are all very clean and tidy. Noey, the ever chic headhoncho is kind, generous, and helpful. In addition to having available maps, brochures, etc., she suggested some interesting places to eat, shop, and visit. I stayed in both...

This guesthouse has everything. They even offer free bike rentals. It is very comfortable and homey. You will find people to talk to for hours without noticing the time. I have actually decided to extend my stay mainly for loving this hostel. If you want to live in a young hip area with people to talk too and a staff...

I arrived at Yooginong not expecting much considering how cheap the prices were, but I later realized that this was probably due to the decrease in tourism during MERS. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I found it to be new, clean, and friendly, with many amenities provided (AC, maps, toiletries, power adapters, small computer, etc). The staff were also...

The director, who goes by B.T,buzzed us in around 9 o'clock in the morning, well before check in time and without reservation. We had found the place by mistake. He immediately made us feel at home and began preparing two available beds. We chatted briefly and he put us up earlier than policy states with no extra charge. Later that afternoon...

A great place to stay in. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay there. Will definitely stay there again when I'm back in seoul. The location is near enough to the metro. But there are a lot of stuff to visit around the guesthouse as well.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Yooginong Guesthouse opened at the centre of Hongdae area in 2012, August. In 2014, November, we moved to Mangwon-dong, a residential area adjacent to Hongdae and Hapjeong area for better circumstances. The new place is in a walkable distance from Hongdae area (approximately 20 minutes by walk). Also it is easily accessible from/to anywhere in downtown including must-see-destinations in Seoul via Mangwon (Line 6) and Hapjeong (Line 2, 6) subway station. The neighbourhood of the guesthouse has lots of places to hang out with its prestigious traditional market, Worldcup Stadium and Park, DMC,cozy cafes, pubs and restaurants. You can also enjoy taking a walk or biking through Han river near the guesthouse. Han River Park in Mang-won area is especially famous for its outdoor swimming pool, various events in the evening and exciting hiking courses. The DMC town is also worthy to go. It is an emerging central point for Korean popular culture including broadcasting stations such as MBC, TvN and M-net where various events like K-pop concerts often held and the Korean Film Archive where you can enjoy traditional/contemporary Korean and world films/ DVDs (free admission). ... more   less
