It is a great place to stay in Myeongdong area but more for people with minimal luggages as you have to carry your own luggages down from your room (1st, 2nd & 3rd floors) to ground floor when you check out. Also there is a bit of walk uphill needed to this guesthouse from Myeongdong station. Kitchen area is crowded... More

Conveniently located to explore Namsan-Dong area including N-Tower and the Namdeamun Market area. Closest Metro-Station is Meyong-dong which is very convenient to get around. The room I was in had very thin doors/walls, not soundproof at all. You literally hear everything in the other rooms and hallway which I find a quite uncomfortable. Room itself had a "very firm" mattress,... More

Stayed here for one night with 3 of my students before I had to fly back home. Location was perfect- got to love the short walk to the metro station despite it being a little steep up the hill but good exercise nonetheless. Room was small but decent and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Gave good advice on... More

This was my second trip to Seoul and my re-chose the this place as previous experiance convinced me that this place offers the comfort I needed. True indeed. Kidae (the owner) did not disappoint me. The place is still cozy and clean. The bed is sufficient and the bathroom (though small) is prim and proper. all needed for a good... More

We stayed here for 6 nights and had a brilliant time. It is in a great location in Myongdong which has everything you need especially shopping. It is up a slight hill but at the bottom is a subway station. The owner is very nice and helpful and you can use all the amenities there. It is self service and... More

We stayed here for a week and we didn't have any issues. The room is clean and tidy plus the wifi is very strong. It is very accessible to the subway, shopping market and restaurants. We'll definitely book here again this year.

The owner, Mr Kidae was very friendly and helpful. Nice free breakfast we had, loved the biscoff spread! Some quite steep walking distance (about 3 minutes walk from Myeong-Dong station) but the weather was so nice I didn't mind at all.

I stayed in the guesthouse for 2 (non-consecutive) nights: 1 night in a double room on the top floor and 1 night in a single room on the second floor. The guesthouse is fairly easy to find if you follow the instructions from its website. The closest metro station is Myeongdong. The walk from the metro stop is steep in... More

The Hill Guesthouse has a great location, but in a place like Myeongdong which is saturated with guesthouses, hotels and everything you could possibly want, this doesn't really give it an edge. Like others have said, it is located on a very steep hill and carrying up heavy luggage doubles the pain. This however is probably balanced out by the... More
