I stayed at Hotel M for a week from the 26th of September til the 1st of October. It's based in the business/government district quite close to the Korean National Assembly. The hotel is very comfortable with spacious rooms given the price and location. There is a restaurant on site which does breakfast and dinner. It may do lunch but... More

The location is good for Yeouido, if that's where you need to be, a couple of blocks from the park on the National Assembly side. It's a fairly old hotel, with an odd entrance that looks like it might have been designed to shield cars parked there from prying eyes! Check in was fairly efficient, although the staff wasn't particularly... More

This hotel is a clean, spacious hotel located near the centre of Seoul. The staff and service is second to none - Staff will go so far as to go and get food that you request from other restaurants for room service! Highly recommend.

On tour last December, our group stayed at this hotel for a few days as it is close to the amethyst factory, one of the highlights. The lobby is very small, manned by the same young Korean lady that I see in some photos recent and past (kudos to her) and she is very nice but should wear a smile... More

This hotel offers the traveler a great location with clean, spacious rooms and a smart design. The subway is literally right around the corner as is the National Assembly building. Fine eateries, restaurants and watering holes abound in the area as well. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room fee is quite competitive. I've stayed at 5 star hotels... More

Stayed here for 2 nights during the 2012 presidential election. Security surrounding the area was very tight, as the hotel is just next to President Lee Myung-Bak's office. It got quite noisy as the polls were being counted, but hey, what an experience to join in a piece of history. Overall, a quite pleasant stay, but could not really say... More

This is by no means a luxury hotel but for me it is perfect for my travel needs. There are double doors to the rooms (to leave your shoes) , big room, adequate bathroom, comfortable bed, free internet and free breakfast, staff who can communicate in English. Outside of the hotel you've got your Starbucks, 7-11, all other kind of... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in a double room on the (top) 12th floor. The room was reasonably large with nice furnishing and kept very clean. The room was very quiet. Staying in Yeoido

Neighbourhood Profile
Yeoido
Along with Gangnam and Samseongdong, Yeoido completes the trifecta of Seoul’s three main business districts. Steel and glass towers are the most visible sights, reflecting Yeoido’s general association as a business hub. But Yeoido is also where Korea’s laws are debated and enacted by Korea’s legislators within the iconic National Assembly Building. For an escape from urban life, the Yeouido Hangang Park is one of the most popular parks along the Han River for Seoulites. Each spring, cherry blossom trees go into full bloom and the sight of the rows of pink trees and cherry blossom petals blowing in the air is a magical one that shouldn’t be missed if your timing is right.
