Cons : there are none, you get what you pay for and a lot more. Pros: When you first enter the building you might be disappointed by the cheap-looking entrance. but...

The location of this hotel is great.... close to restaurants, Egyptian museum, shopping center city. The staff were very nice and friendly. Very clean The only issue we faced that the Wifi was weak in our room, but you can easily get a chip for internet only for about $15 that you can take wherever you go.

The hotel is within a walk distance to Egypt Museum and close to the river Nile. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff are working hard and get breakfast ready for guests who will leave early morning. Breakfast is good. Bedding is comfortable. The tour desk needs to be improved: standard tour packages and market pricelist should be available for...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at City View. You can't ask for a better view, beds were super comfy, bathroom was spotless with nice hot showers. Breakfast was simple and sweet, the staff were both pleasant and helpful. We thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely be booking again in the near future.

Staff was super helpful. Setup a great tour (driver & guide) for pyramids at Giza, Saqqara, & Dahshur. Offered very useful suggestions on sites to see and what to avoid. Location across the street from museum and a block away from Metro stop.

Great location overlooking Tahir Square and Egyptian museum. Unique Egyptian decor in old hotel. Staff very helpful, computers with wifi available which was very helpful. Restaurant open 24-7 with good, inexpensive food and drinks as well as beer. We had and loved Kofta sandwiches for lunch and dinner every lunch and dinner as well as for late-night snacks. I would...

Hotel is situated opposite the Egyptian Museum making it convenient. Don't be deceived by the rather ramshackle the hotel is on a fourth floor I think. Stayed for 3 nights and according to our tour guide has the best KFC restaurant in the country nearby. Security is good and breakfast is great and must order the omelette even though there's...

Room facilities met USA standards including a toilet bidet. spacious room, hot shower, great cleaning and kitchen staff made it a pleasant stay. Laundry staff were very honest,...

Let's start with the good points: the location is great, overlooking Tahir Square with easy access to Sadat metro station, Downtown and the Egyptian Museum; the staff are helpful and friendly; the rooms are a decent size and everything works; it's fairly cheap, given the location. On the downside: it's quite noisy, even with the windows closed thanks to the...
