The hostel is very clean, the location its very suitable for tourists; the Nile river and the Egypt museum are like 15 min by walk there are so many shops to buy food and stuff, the staff is very friendly, breakfast is nice and the tea is the best, Recommended 100%

The room was nice and the air con worked well. The staff was nice and helpful. It was within walking distance of the Egyptian Museum, as well as good options for eating (including Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonalds if you need a break from local food). I stayed here for 4 nights with a 3 day Nile cruise in the middle. Fairly closely located to all the things you want to see in downtown Cairo,(walking distance) and the rooms are typical hostels dorms/privates. Freedom Hostel is wonderful place to stay. Per your request they can have a driver pick you up from bus or airport, which I highly recommend doing because Cairo is MASSIVE and the streets are all in Arabic and the taxi drivers will try and charge you an astronomical fee.
