We were extremely fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite on this stay. The room, amenities and the level of service were first class. Having been in Egypt and Jordan for nearly two weeks, I was becoming disillusioned with what the Egyptians were calling 5-star hotels. The Four Seasons certainly made up for that. The bedrooms are beautifully finished and the beds very comfortable with generous sized bathrooms. The breakfast was of a substantial and of a very high standard. The were some lovely touches from the housekeeping staff which made this a fabulous stay. They have some nice restaurants which I've reviewed separately.

We checked in the rooms, there was a problem with the AC as soon as we came, we left and the maintenance went in after we finished the room was infested with bugs as they left the window open. When it was the day of check out someone from the front desk called one of the rooms and asked for us to leave immediately, which is odd since it wasnt even 12pm and not a professional way to talk to a guest at all and i had booked 2 suites for 3 nights each which isnt little . Totally a disappointing experience not visiting again.

This Four Seasons is an oasis in the chaos that is Cairo. We stayed in an Executive Suite on the top floor overlooking the Nile. The rooms themselves are spacious, but nothing to write home about. They aren’t new or modern, but do the job. The breakfast buffet is top notch for a Four Seasons - their pastry and vienoisseries are made by someone who knows how to bake! I know there’s lots of street food to eat in Cairo, but a peaceful breakfast was a highlight. In the scheme of things, FS Nile Plaza may not be the crown jewel of the FS brand, but it must be the crown jewel of Cairo hotels. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Egypt.

I've stayed at the Four Season Cairo Nile Plaza twice prior to booking this trip for my family. As it was their first time to Cairo wanted to make it special so we booked the Four Seasons again. Weeks leading up to the trip, the Concierge was incredibly helpful in assisting us with planning the best itinerary to make the most of our trip and while we were there their incredible service continued. The hotel and its staff are so lovely. There are several amazing restaurants to choose from--each one as equally as delicious as the last. Everyone on the trip got a massage and definitely said the spa experience was one of their best ever! If you plan to visit Cairo, I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The area isn't the greatest, but this hotel is. I could not be more impressed with the degree of attention and service that we received from the hotel staff. We were basically treated like royalty. The food was excellent as well, especially the middle eastern restaurant. Too bad it is not open every day though. The room was on the small side, but extremely well equipped and comfortable. Spotless and beautifully maintained by the housekeeping staff. The neighborhood is not is not even remotely walkable and you really need to think about how you will possibly cross the street if you decide to explore it on foot. Even though the hotel is right on the Nile, forget about strolling along the river. Well, that's not the fault of Four Seasons, hence the five stars.

Positives first: This is probably the nicest hotel in Cairo. There is a gorgeous lobby and the entire hotel is beautifully decorated. We were booked into a suite on a non-smoking floor through Abercrombie & Kent as part of a 10-day tour. The suite was huge with a beautifully appointed bathroom (L'Occitane toiletries) and comfortable bed, and a terrace overlooking the Nile with a view of the pyramids. The buffet at Zitouni, the Egyptian restaurant, was fantastic. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch and there was plenty of bottled water. We had a great meal through room service ordering different mezzo dishes. Not so positive: As others said, Cairo allows smoking in public areas and many of the hotel rooms so be sure to request a non-smoking room if that is a concern. We didn't encounter smoking at Zitouni but there were ashtrays on the tables so I think we were just lucky. The rooms are dated, and the carpet in our suite was stained and there was an odd smell like some kind of cleaning fluid. Overall it was a very comfortable stay.…

After the long days at the museums, we could not wait to return "home" to shower dress up and go to one of the restaurants where the food and staff service was 10 out of 10. The price was also very reasonable. The Chinese restaurant was 10/10, the Egyptian restaurant was 10/10 and the Italian was 10/10. We enjoy Cairo because also of the hotel we stayed. We would suggest you to consider stay there. It might be more expensive than to the others but you are paying for quality, safe, delicious food and great customer service!
