I went to stay at the Grand Hyatt last month as I am organising an event this month for 70 people. The hotel is great with a fantastic view and lovely bedrooms with balconies. A word of warning, I have just been informed, without warning, that the hotel has implemented a no alcohol sold policy within the hotel's bars and... More

We had a great stay here, our bed room was clean and comfortable, but otherwise unremarkable, the bathroom was very nice. we were on the seventeenth floor overlooking the pool. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful, the facilities were good and as mentioned in many other reviews the lobby was quite spectacular. We had no complaints whatsoever and... More

This hotel is a great place to hang out. The restaurants are all good; I particularly liked the Nubian Village. Pool and health club are very nice and refreshing after a day of sightseeing. Club on the 30th floor serves excellent appetizers. Rooms are clean and have great views. Lobby has a bank that is open 24 hours. Breakfast in... More

March 3, 2008: Our group of 12 from Honolulu spent 6 nights, enjoying not only the vast amenities of restaurants, galleria-style shopping, and attentive services, but also the wonderful beds and jaw-dropping views from every room from the expansive balconies. We used the hotel as a base coming and going to Luxor, Aswan, Istanbul, and Jordan. Although the hotel barely... More

I had done tons of research for me and my colleagues to stay somewhere nice and when I got there I soon realized I had done good. Besides its great location, I was very pleased to find out that the Hyatt has its own dinner cruise boat right in front of the hotel- how convenient!! Our first night we went... More

We arrived in Cairo and all I can say is be prepared to be scammed from the minute you land until the moment you step foot back on the plane leaving. We ended up with a room over looking the nile. We were not instructed correctly by the concier so we missed seeing alot of things. The Hotel way over... More

We had a large, clean comfortable room with a great view and very comfortable bed. The service was excellent and the breakfast choice was very good. The hotel is quite a distance from central Cairo but we did not find this a problem.

Breakfast is not provided by the... More

I was torn between the Grand Hyatt and the Conrad, and ended up booking the Hyatt on the basis of its pool (overlooking the Nile) and its proximity to the Cairo Museum (walkable). I was not disappointed with my choice, although once I arrived it became obvious to me that you couldn't actually see the Nile when you were swimming,... More
