In downtown Cairo, in an old charming bloc - I love the elevator, do not worry, it works! - with a choice of old and renewed rooms. The old ones are ...whm.. full of character, but I recommend the new extension, totally renovated and clean and with wifi internet!. If you get a room overlooking the inner space between the...

This pension house has a charm. Before you enter, you will see the elevator with a collapsible gate. The old vibe will continue throughout the stay with big doors and nice decorations which I enjoyed a lot! The stuffs were superb too with 24 hours desk. They served with a breakfast a day ago as my flight was too early...

We chose this hotel from the guide, and it was all we could have hoped for. The price was really good, the room was clean and well ventilated, we chose no air-con, but it wasn't necessary, the hotel had free breakfast and you could buy water bottles at a reasonable price from the kitchen, which we found extremely useful. Probably...

I was visiting few weeks ago. The place has its charm for sure, the high ceiling, furniture, breakfast room, everything was worth the visit. The place lacks some cleanliness, the small towel in my room was dirty and obviously not changed since the last guest. The communal shower and bathroom were basic, the toilet was a bit dirty... There was...

When my original (unrelated) hotel told me it had been overbooked I was disappointed, but where I ultimately ended up staying (Pension Roma) turned out to be a better place, anyway. Pension Roma is in a great downtown location, within walking distance of the Nile and the Egyptian Museum, and close to some nice cafes. My room was comfortable and...

Pension Roma is a great value stay near downtown Cairo. The 24-hour staff is very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were very clean and spacious with beautiful accents and high ceilings. The air conditioning and beds were comfortable enough and wi-fi was available.
