For the positive side the hotel has a good location and is quiet during the night, rooms are correct and cleaned, breakfast ok. For the less positive it is located in a building which you would hesitate to enter as dirty and not safe. The worst thing is the the owner seems tired about his business so the atmosphere is...

Stayed here 2 separate nights between a couple of tours. This place was a nice little treasure. Located super close to Tahrir square and the museum as well as lots of local shopping and restaurants. The rooms are small but more than adequate for a place to sleep or to hide away and just view over the city. The owner...

You get what u pay for. Don't expect the Hyatt. The room I got was clean and comfortable on a low level. The bed was good, tv was working. Fridge was switched off, eating and drinking in the room forbidden. Breakfast was Egyptian standard, one day. Second day I just got a coffee. Wifi worked mostly fast enough and was...

We had a great stay at this hotel. Uniquely located at the top floor of an office building. It is very homely with great views around the city from the balcony and the roof terrace. Owner was very helpful and available. He helped us arrange tour to pyramids and other locations at short notice. Breakfast time is flexible and cooked,...

I booked this hotel for a couple of friends and family members from Germany and Austria who came to attend my wedding in Cairo. It was very difficult to find a stylish, clean and affordable place in downtown Cairo, I went around Cairo downtown and visited many hotels before I decided to book the Osiris. Myself and all the guests...

The location is the best thing about this place. Lots of military outside because the army has headquarters in the neighborhood. The wifi was not workin' when we were there six months ago so expect no miracles on that front. We used the subway and buses to get around in Cairo/Gaza so the proprietor lost interest in us quickly. It's...

The bad: "Hotel" sees like a bit of a stretch. This would really be called a hostel anywhere else. The rooms were very basic, but mostly clean. The beds were semi-comfortable. If you're a smoke this place is great. If you don't smoke and the smell of smoke bothers you, I wouldn't recommend booking here. The owner basically sits in...

This hotel was a hidden jewel the service was excellent and the owner Nabel and his brother treated my friend and I like their daughters. I loved waking up in the morning to have breakfast and hanging out after a day of tours in the main sitting area talking stories with them. My first trip to Egypt and I loved...

this 10th floor b&b is great in that it is central, in a safe neighborhood (across from the police headquarters !!), with restaurants nearby, and the egyptian museum, the metro, and tahrir square a short walk. the breakfast is so so but it is a delight to sit and eat it looking out over the city. the owner will make...

We stayed here for 2 nights. Very difficult to find. But once found easy to see why. Walking distance from tahrir square and cairo museum. Breakfast was simple and good. Room were clean with good air conditioning. Just for note, they request payment upfront not on check out. They only accept cash and that only in US dollars or egyptian...
