I had a nice time in Aussie hostel. The staff is very cool and helpful. Good breakfast, tea and coffee for free! Aussie Is located in a great area, only three minutes walking from the Metro (Ataba station) and 15 from Khal al Khalili market (big bazar). Quiet, and comfortable place, you shoul come!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful staff, helpful in every way from, booking me tours, accommodation in my next town, shopping for me, booking bus tickets the friendliest people I have met in Egypt. Aussie hostel is very relaxed, feels like home.

I stayed 4 nights at this hostel, from Dec 4 till Dec 8, 2012 and I really had a wonderful time. Quiet, clean and comfortable place. The rooms are good size, fresh and comfortable beds. The hostel is centrally located in downtown Cairo. The staff is very friendly and whatever you ask, they are ready to help and very proactive....

I stayed in this hostel for few days and I really liked it. The people working there are very kind and helpful. The place is very clean and it is very central but it is also quiet considering other places in downtown.

They give me good service and They are smart staff they make you feel that you have lyx Hotel . Good location that make you in the heart off Cairo . Prise is like nothing!!! Cleaning is good. Staff is young and kinde!

The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful! they looked after me when I was sick, they told me and my friend how to avoid certain situations and they were always there to help us out - with everything! Near Cairo's Museum and El ABD bakery (which I recommend). The personal was really helpful, we could get our train tickets to Luxor (is not easy by yourself) and to get a really nice hotel. Location is excellent to see a normal day of the people from Cairo. Clean rooms, restrooms in reasonable conditions. Service very good, the stuff always...

This newly opened small hostel is a couple of floors above above pensione Roma (as seen in the lonely planet). The price is very reasonable (25LE for dorm room, NOT the 70 quoted on here!) each bed has a new powerful fan, sheets are clean and beds comfy. Location is great to experience Cairo, within walking distance from tahir square...
