Hotel has a great location, is clean, safe, and was a great value. I could’ve expected more for the amount that we paid which was $45 per night per room.
You just have to understand that the tourist industry in Egypt can be pushy and tips are expected. So having small denomination bills to tip is very helpful. The equivalent of $1 USD or 20 Egyptian pounds is usually sufficient but everyone expects a tip. You are not required to tip and you should only tip if you fell you received exceptional service.
The hotel is pushy when it comes to selling rides and tours, they charge more than double because they speak English and arrange everything for you. It’s still cheap ($10 per hour per person for camel or horse or carriage ride to the Pyramids) but you have to decide if the convenience is worth paying more than double. Never agree to their price, you always have to haggle. They make it seem that it’s a separate person booking the tours but they all work for the hotel and don’t like it if you try to use a different individual for the tour. You can get it much cheaper on the street but you have to haggle. You should walk to the Pyramids on you own first before you book anything, that will give you an idea of what you want to do and what the prices should be.
My kids didn’t like the breakfast but I found it okay, what do you expect for $45 per night.
The views from the rooftop is great, but you can walk there in 5 min and get a closeup view. Just be ready to be swamped with people trying to sell goods and rides, don’t buy anything till you get a lay of the land.
You have to ask for the room to be cleaned or for additional
Towels, once you ask they happily do it.
They are extremely concerned with their Travelocity and booking.com reviews so use that to your advantage. They will give you a free gift if you write a good review in their presence and they will Push you for it, you can spot those artificial reviews, my three kids left those artificial reviews not get the free gift.
They do free airport pickup but you have to pay for the return ride tot the airport, the hotel charges twice as much as a taxi.
The WiFi was good in the room, but not on the roof top, that was okay with us. The frig was great and it has a freezer which is great for the feee bottles of water they provide you.

My name is Hiren, I am from Auckland, New Zealand. I arrived to cairo airport with zero expectations but was feeling very nervous when i got to the airport. The Hotel had my free pickup/driver with my name written waiting for me at the arrival gate.

Soon as i saw him i felt relief and comfort. I arrived at the hotel and immediately i felt safe and secure.
The owner and his family were there to greet me and had surprised me with a birthday cake. They were all so amazing and kind to me i felt nothing but at home.

As i checked in i was so shocked at how cheap the price was for such a prime location with such a tidy room. The rooms have comfortable beds with good tvs and heating/cooling systems. The fridge is always full of water bottles and every day the room were cleaned by a lovely lady.

The name of this Hotel truly speaks for itself because it truly is the BEST VIEW for the pyramids.

The bar and the restaurant have amazing food and the breakfast was just the best. The hotel has super fast wifi internet.Being hindu i found the private meditation from the rooftop was the highlight of my trip. My 6 nights here felt very short i wish i stayed here longer.

I would like to praise and thank the staff at the Best View Pyramids hotel. I will be visiting again and i highly recommend this place for anyone!

I am from Pretoria, South Africa and stayed for one week. I travelled alone. It was spectacular, very safe. Best View Pyramids Hotel is fantastic with a beautiful view of the pyramids. The pyramid complex is one minute from the hotel.
The room and bathroom is very neat and clean. The rooftop restaurant serves delicious food and is a great place to wind down after a day out . The laser show at the pyramids can be viewed from the rooftop at no additional cost. The restaurant offers BBQ. It is a good place for meditation at sunrise and sunset. The staff of both the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and helpful, they will go out of their way to help you and all speak good English. Tours can be arranged from the hotel at a fair price, you will be collected and return at the hotel door. Wifi is available with very good signal. They wil allow you to leave you suitcase in a safe area if you want to do one last tour before your flight on your last day here.
Best View Pyramids is the best hotel to stay at in Cairo, I recommend it very strongly.
Shukran to the staff of Best View Pyramid Hotel, I will miss you.

We stayed here as a group of 4 on a short break to Cairo. There are a few parking spaces outside the hotel. On arrival we were warmly greeted at reception by Nana who was very helpful and informative. We had two double rooms and both were clean and reasonably decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the room was warm. The bathroom was ok with a great shower that was nice and powerful. We did have a few issues though. One of the beds was missing a sheet, one was missing a duvet cover, one of the rooms had no hand soap in the bathroom and the other room had no cups for the complimentary tea and coffee. However these problems were all dealt with promptly when we reported them to reception later that evening. We only had one evening meal at the hotel. We all had pizza and a drink and this took over an hour to arrive and was, in my opinion rather expensive. My friend requested a coffee and gave up waiting in the end and went back to her room and made her own. The view from the rooftop bar and restaurant is incredible! You can sit and watch the sound and light show at the pyramids and there are some fantastic photo opportunities. Breakfast was reasonable consisting of cheese, cold meats, egg, falafel, breads and fruit and yoghurt. One evening my friend and I had a shisha at the hotel. Earlier in the day my husband was told it would cost 50le. However we were charged 100le each! When we queried the price at reception we were told we had been charged tourist prices as they had forgotten we live in Egypt! They sent some cakes to our rooms as way of an apology. We were each given a gift of a small papyrus and were then asked to write a review for trip advisor. They even offered to help us write the review!! I said I would rather wait till I got home to write one. Check out on our last morning was very quick. At the moment I feel this hotel is average and relies on the view from the roof of the pyramids. However, with attention to detail and the finer points this could be a very good hotel.
Please note there is an elevator at the hotel but you can only get 2 people at a time in it and it doesn’t go to the roof. So if you have mobility issues this could be a problem.

Look you get what you pay for and it was only $100 a night. We booked in here because its pretty much across the road from the Pyramids. This made us think that we would be able to sort of wander over there whenever, but that is not the case. There is an entry near by for locals which gets huuuuuuuuge queues or you drive 15/20 mins around to the tourist entrance on the other side.

The only real advantage of staying here is that you can sit up on the roof and watch the sun rise/set over the pyramids, which is quite beautiful and the are literally like just 'there'. So great for views, not for access

So again, keeping in mind it was $100, we arent expecting the Ritz here. It looks like each room has its own small hot water system mounted on the wall in the bathroom. If 2 adults need to shower, I suggest you do it together otherwise its on shower in the morning and the other goes at night. It runs out fast. There were exposed wires, sewage, chemical, glue and paint smells. The security chain had been pulled off at some change and not replaced.
There is a mosque almost next door so when the call to prayer comes in the wee small hours of the morning (which, for the record I love listening to and Im not bagging out any religious things), its LOUD! Like not just being a sook about car horns or general street noise, I dont care about that sort of stuff, but old mate nearly jumped us out of bed it was so loud LOL. This is obviously not the hotels fault or anything they have any control over, just be aware so you dont get a jolt when it happens :)

Dinner wasnt all that impressive, a lot of the menu items werent available. I always try to have a chat with the staff, learn some new words, ask their name. The guy lied to me about his name. I dont know why, Im sure he had his own reasons and Im not giving him the opportunity to explain here, I just thought that was a little odd and unsettled me a little. But I could totally be reading more into that than there is.

The brekkie was really nice, I cant fault them on the brekkie. Basic but delicious. Im sure the tomatoes were home grown, they were so tasty. Really yummie eggs and potatos

If youre just there for one night to get those sun rise and sun set views......and you can handle a cold shower. Set your expectations low and tough it out, the views really are amazing. If you want to stay around for a few days, maybe stay in Cairo and catch an Uber in.

We have stayed 2 nights at the hotel Best View Pyramids. It has very well started, as a driver was sent by the hotel to pick us up at the airport in a comfortable car. On the plus side, the hotel is located very close to the pyramids site entrance (5min walk) and our room was clean.
The previous reviews mentioning the camels and horses feces right outside of it as the animals are left there when not working is true. This means that the area doesn’t smell the best and it is infested by flies. It is however the case for many hotels on that side.
Unfortunately the breakfast isn’t however a buffet with a choice, but we depended on the plate that was served, only starting at 8.30am while the pyramids site entrance opens at 8am, when it is slightly less hot.
Another positive point was the water gifted upon each return to the hotel.
Although we stayed two nights, our room was not cleaned nor our bed made on the morning following our first night. Nothing dramatic of course, but we were expecting it to be done as it is usually the case in all hotels.
The most negative part of our journey was how the owner of the hotel has made us feel. Being obsessed with reviews, he insisted A LOT for us to leave one, while still staying there, gifting us 2 papyrus « in exchange » of a 5 stars review to increase his rating online. We have felt obliged to take them, not daring to refuse with the pressure put on us. We did however left them in a drawer of the room (picture attached) when we decided to leave the hotel on an early morning (8am) to make sure we would avoid him chasing us for the review.
We were traveling as a couple, and as we are both regular travelers, the pressure he tried to put on us to rent his hotel services (car rides or guide to the pyramids or else) didn’t have much effect on us. However, I would certainly not recommend any solo female traveler to stay there as the pressure the owner puts on the client is very uncomfortable/unhealthy.
Last but not least, we have booked the Deluxe Triple room with Pyramids view. What a disappointment! Looking out the main window and the balcony, no pyramid in sight. After calling the reception to ask about it, I have been told to check « the window ». The man meant a small window that was hidden behind big curtains. Opening it, then turning my head 180°, then yes, I could see a bit of a pyramid, through a mosquito net (picture attached).
In short, I would definitely not be coming back on my next trip, nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone.

After a long trip staff were very welcoming, the room was very clean, you can view the light show from the roof top every night… safe location reception is 24hrs… best to book your tours through the hotel for a good price…. Hotel offers free pickup from airport and return… we came as tourists and left as family…. Highly recommended! Also good Wi-Fi

I came from London, United Kingdom
I am a traveler I choose best view pyramid hotel and stayed for 3 weeks. The hotel provided free pick up from the airport and the driver was nice and was waiting for me with a sign with my name in English on it. When I arrived to the hotel the receptionist provided great hospitality thought out my whole stay and they were always available for help 24/7. The location was great, cover the whole view of the pyramids. I arranged with them all my tours which saved me so much money and hustle as they always provided the best service around and the best price and there was always a tour guide with me who speaks fluent English and really friendly called Mohamed. Would also recommend you to ask for him.

The suite was newly built had a really nice view from the jacuzzi tub and the bed viewing the 3 pyramids and Sphinx which was amazing to watch the sun rise and sunset. Best view I ever had.

Also I watched the light show from the roof top which also had a great bar and Resturant and was basically allocated just underneath my suite.

Breakfast was amazing in bed infront of the pyramids and all the food was extremely delicious

To conclude The suite was very clean, the staff extremely friendly professional and speaks fluent English which made my stay even easier.

Even before I travel the hotel arrange for me my PCR test and was done for me inside the hotel and I got the certificate without leaving the hotel and the price was very decent .

5 out 5 definitely would recommended

I came to egypt as a Tourist but I left egypt with a new family.
Will definitely stay there next time I visit egypt.

It was me and my son's first time visiting Egypt from the U.S. I booked this place based on the reviews and views available. Let me tell you that It was beyond my expectations. First we were met by the hotel driver at the airport free of charge.

When we arrived the room that we booked on Expedia was not given to us so I asked to get the same that I booked. I was offered an upgrade and given the luxury suite by the staff free of charge. The room had a jacuzzi and a terrace. We were happy that they were able to accommodate us beyond our expectations.

The hotel staff is full of hospitality and makes sure that you are taken care of. They made us feel at home and were truly amazing. Not to mention the breakfast on the rooftop/bar of the hotel. You can view the pyramids without an obstructed view while enjoying your complimentary breakfast.

I recommend you use the hotel staff for tours /drivers as finding some online may or may be a hit or miss. The problem with a lot of tours is they may or may not be trustworthy and charge extra fees for tipping etc. The hotel staff had their trusted driver accompany us for one of our tours to take care of translating and sketchy situations. It was helpful just to have that assurance that we weren't being ripped off.

Overall we had a great time and experience. If you look outside the rooftop you realize that this place is a gem because you don't see a lot of rootops with a bar/restaurant in the area. In addition the view you get is just the cherry on the top. From the roof the Great Sphinx looks like it's within walking distance.

I would recommend this hotel to others based off of the hospitality and warm atmosphere you get from the staff. They are very kind and will make sure you have all of your expectations needed. I will definitely return here again on my next trip.

We came from Dallas, Texas to experience Egyptian culture and marvel at the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau. The choice of the Deluxe King Suite with Pyramids View was definitely the best choice to make. The view was fantastic - my sister and I sat on the terrace right outside our room to enjoy the beautiful Pyramid Light Show every night. Wonderful choices on the free breakfast buffet - fresh oranges and fresh pastries were just a couple of the items available to choose from. We received a complimentary ride from the airport to a welcoming dinner, provided by the hotel restaurant upon our arrival. It was a great introduction to Egyptian hospitality. The staff was so friendly and attentive, welcoming us “home” every time we returned from trips to Memphis, the Giza Plateau, and Alexandria. We were given bottles of water all of the time and friendly offers of assistance, which were greatly appreciated. The room was very clean and well stocked with drinks and snacks. The hotel restaurant, just down the stairs from our room, offered delicious food and drinks to enjoy on the rooftop patio. Everything we needed was within easy reach during our stay and Mr. El Samman made sure we felt at home at his hotel and restaurant, as did his whole staff. Since booking tours of Egypt’s historic sites could be done through the hotel that was another convenience the hotel had to offer. Also we were able to have our COVID testing requirements handled right at the hotel. Location is a real gold star and definitely recommend Best View Pyramids Hotel to stay at to enjoy the beautiful view of a world treasure right before your eyes!

The best bet is never find out and avoid it. The view is great. Everything else is terrible and expensive. Go to a better place near here for the same or less cost. However, if you have a passion for warm over priced beer that takes 30 minutes per can to be ordered, this is the place for you!

Based upon my experience it is available 24/7. I arrived at 1am. The bar had already “closed.” BUT hotel staff took me to the rooftop so I could see the pyramids for the first time. I was then offered a beer which I gladly accepted. I sat up there until nearly 2am enjoying the spectacular view. In short, the hotel STAFF ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING and flexible.
