We had a wonderful satay at Pyramids Valley Boutique Hotel. To start- the staff and service were excellent. From planning airport shuttles, to the wait staff at the restaurant, to just chatting with the front desk attendants to start/end our days, everyone there was super friendly and helpful answering all our questions and just chit chatting. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfy. They were cleaned to the tee daily and the balcony offered a nice few of the pyramids. The food options at the restaurant were amazing- I think I had about 5 of their mango juices and their soups were just what I wanted after a long day on my feet of touring the pyramids. AWESOME view of the pyramids as well, we viewed the two nightly light shows easily from the top of the building. Overall a really awesome stay. would highly suggest it. My only complaint is a small one that isn't much in the hotels control- The hotel is nicely located on a small side street from the main street in front of the pyramids. There are A LOT of stray dogs on the street that are not an issue during the day at all- they mind their own business and sleep most of the time except at night when they bark incessantly. We slept with earbuds and pillows over our ears to block out the sound as it's right outside your window and quite loud. So just be prepared for that.…
We had a simply amazing three stay from February 10-13th at Pyramid Valley boutique hotel. It was our Wedding Anniversary and my husband, Lawrence, and I arrived to find really welcoming reception staff and the most delicious celebratory chocolate cake waiting for us in our room. Our room was perfect with views to die for overlooking the Sphynx and the Pyramids. We just sat on the balcony for an hour taking in the view. The room was well equipped with kettle, coffee, tea, very comfortable bed and a decent shower with plenty of hot water. The restaurant was on the roof with show stopping vies of the pyramids and perfect for watching the sound and light show. The menu was varied and very good. There were welcome heaters and blankets for the desert evenings and we sat there for hours. It was easy to arrange transport to different archaeological sites and the costs were very reasonable. The staff really went out of their way to help us and they were always cheerful and smiling. We will definitely come back and stay here again when the new Cairo museum opens this year. A big thank you to the staff for making our Wedding Anniversary so memorable.…
This hotel has the best view of the pyramids in Giza. Hotel staff are very helpful. Rooms are dated and each one is different(May not match the pictures you see online). Overall a pleasant experience, rooms just need an upgrade.
We are staying here now and it is just perfect. Rooms comfortable and very clean. Staff amazing, nothing they won’t do to make your stay perfect. But the view from our room and even better from the restaurant is just incredible. Also ate dinner in restaurant tonight and it food and service amazing.
For a good hotel that gets you the best view in Giza, this is it. They have an perfect view of the Pyramids where you can watch the sunset from the rooftop overlooking the Pyramids. They have an unobstructed view. Breakfast is what it needs to be. Basic to get you going. The staff was the best. Incredibly friendly, very helpful and helped get us to and from the airport in Cairo. About 35 minutes without traffic from the airport. I was extremely happy with my selection. Beds comfy enough. The main attraction of this hotel is how close you are to the Pyramids.
Pyramid Valley Hotel was an outstanding discovery. Clean rooms, rooftop restaurant with great view of Sphinx and Pyramids, delicious breakfast, all for a very reasonable price. Several staff members speak English well. Bottled water provided. We were able to watch the sound and light show from the comfort of the rooftop - no expensive ticket to buy. Highly Recommended
I travel often and this is the first time I felt the need to write a review on this hotel. The staff are all thieves. They kept doubling our bills thinking we would not notice. They charged us for trips we did not take. When we refused to pay they would not let us leave. We were being delaying to catch our flight so I paid $340 for services we did not receive. My only mistake was letting the reception lady Salma talk me into booking trips with the hotel. She has the gift of the gab. Day one trip went wrong and when I addressed this with the hotel, Salma denied I had agreed an itinerary with her. Same happened the next day where I was charged $105 for a drop off to the Citadel and pick up. We agreed to English speaking guide, entrance fees, tour of old Cairo, Khan el khalili and Coptic Cairo. We paid $105 for a drop off and pick up which would have cost $10 if we had taken the Uber. The day three trip we refused to go with them as they were not honest. On the last day we ate at the hotel and the bill added to $63 however, the staff brought us a bill of $180?? When we asked them to give us a breakdown they were unable to justify this amount but insisted we pay. When we said the bill needs to be amended, we were advised that their system can not amend! We argued and eventually after mentioning we would contact tourist police they amended the bill and we paid the amount of $63. They gave us a room with no windows but we paid for better rooms. They did not clean the room once, on the second last day I had to go and request that they clean the rooms. So much more has happened while staying here and it was the hotel and their staff that made every attempt to take our money. They all lie and work in a team. I was charged for a horse and carriage ride that I did not book with the hotel but because they saw me being dropped off they added that to my hotel charges?! Everyday it’s like they had targeted us to make our days miserable. The reviews on trip advisor really is not a true reflection. I have always gone by what trip advisor say however these reviews on here can be challenged. The manager Ahmed was involved but he was the biggest crook. He admitted to me that the bills were wrong but because the system had already issues the bill he was unable to amend it which was all lies of course. The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s the closet to the pyramids.…
We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Great view of the pryamids and light show from the rooftop cafe! Staff was very pleasant and helpful! Sheko will teach you basic Arabic and is very pleasant.Ali and Omar were also very accommodating. And Salma was very knowledgeable about tours . Thanks
After a long and late trip from Aswan to Cairo, we confused this hotel with the one we actually booked. The desk clerk let us use the WiFi to confirm which hotel we were staying at and gave us directions to that hotel. In our haste to get to the hotel we booked, we left a bag with a wallet full of cash in it. We showed up the next morning and found that they were holding the bag for us—we thought we dropped it on the road and it was lost forever. We couldn’t have been happier with their help! This was one of the two best hotels adjacent to the Pyramids and a super convenient short walk to the box office, this would be our choice should we revisit the neighborhood!
We booked a room at this hotel through their website (not expedia, not booking...) back in November 2021 for our honeymoon in June 2022. Booked a room with a balcony since the only reason we were staying in Giza was to see the Pyramids. We arrived and the people at the desk tried to say we booked through a 3rd party website and they didn't have our room. I pulled up my reservation and the girl working the desk whispered "oh that is our website booking" like she thought we were lying. The man working the front desk was just like "well sorry we don't have a room I don't know what to tell you". So the girl at the desk starts asking what we're doing while visiting and we say we have a tour already booked and she got very defensive that we didn't book one through their hotel, asking why we were only going to the Pyramids, why we weren't going to any museums or doing anything else, why would we come just to see the Pyramids. Very rude and pushy. So the manager comes down and says he has a room for us on the top floor by the rooftop area that we could look at. So we go up to look at it, and it didn't even have any windows. I booked a room with a balcony and they tried to put us in a room with no windows. Absolutely unacceptable. The only good thing from this hotel was the nice young man who went running around to hotels close by to find us a room with a balcony like we had booked at this hotel. He came back and had found one, and even took pictures and a video of the room to show us before walking us and our luggage over to the new hotel. He's the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars, for his kindness when the other staff were very rude and didn't acknowledge that we had booked a room with them back in November for this trip.…
