The hotel is good and from the room and rooftop you have a beautiful view of the pyramids. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an Arabic atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean and the air conditioning and refrigerator worked well. In the bathroom everything worked, only the finishing is not so neat. The windows do not close completely, so you can hear noise from the street (barking dogs, horses passing by), so bring earplugs! Breakfast is great. Hassan and the other waiters brought a very extensive Arabic breakfast that was delicious. And all with a view of the pyramid! We loved the location. It is only a few minutes walk to the entrance of the Giza plateau. We also used the transfer service from the airport to the hotel and back. They arrived on time.

Summary: Do Not stay here. The management are scammers and liars that try to extort tourists. I had an extremely frustrating and stressful evening recently at the Panorama Pyramids Inn which was a complete scam and not what I paid for. When I arrive at the Panorama Pyramids Inn they had no rooms available even though I had prepaid my booking and was confirmed back in February. Furthermore they couldn't find my reservation until I showed them my confirmation email. Then I was told the Panorama Pyramids Inn only accepts booking.com reservations and that Expedia/hotels.com guests weren't accepted there even though I was able to book their hotel on Expedia so this was a total lie and scam. I was forced to stay at a different "sister" hotel down the road and didn't receive the pyramid view room that I paid extra for. the other hotel put me in a no view room with bars over the window sharing a wall with the lobby which was extremely noisy. Also I had to wait for a room until 8pm at the sister property because the room had plumbing problems. Ultimately I had water on the flower of my bathroom and the toilet didn’t work at all for my stay and I was requested to still use the amenities down the street at the Panorama Pyramids Inn and tried to pressure me into buying tours from their hotel.

I’ve read a lot of the reviews on this hotel and the bad ones talk about overpriced tours and that was just nonsense! It’s over priced because you don’t know how to haggle you adult pampered children. First price was a bit high but we showed him other prices we googled on our phones and he lowered prices accordingly. As for the food. It’s free! Quit complaining you boojee prima donna spoiled brats. The rooms were clean and the staff was kind and very accommodating. The majority of Cairo and Giza is covered in a layer of horse, camel, dog and cat crap but this place is a nice clean place to end your day. Egypt is not like America! Don’t come here thinking it is.

Terrible experience. They didn't have the room available in their property and asked us to move to another nearby hotel which was under construction. We booked room with a view but they provided a ground floor room with no sofa or table. In night there was water dripping from their AC unit . It ruined our luggage. We couldn't run AC the whole night. There were flies and mosquitoes. Bathroom was very small and with no door or curtain in shower. So it flooded the bathroom each time you shower. This was just the first day experience. Unfortunately we have booked it for 3 days. We will how the rest goes. I suggest to not book this hotel. While staff is nice but they have no idea of running a hotel. So run away with your money and don't waste at this property

I stayed here for three nights on a family trip, and I can say that the hospitality was superb! Although only a 3 star hotel the hospitality was 5 star. The pyramid views from the rooftop was spectacular whilst having breakfast and dinner. The complimentary waters, teas and flexibility of booking a last minute taxi was great! Thanks to all hotel staff from the concierge to drivers. especially, Hassan, Ola, Farouk, Mohamed, and our 2 drivers Hani and Islam. You made us feel very welcomed. Special thanks to our tour Guide, Zeinab arranged separately by Yassir at the hotel. Zeinab was an amazing tour guide and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you for hosting us, Panorama Pyramids Inn!

Do not stay at this hotel. It is a complete scam and extremely dirty and unsafe. They rush you to the rooftop after overcharging you for the payment. Then, when you try to ask for your room, they quickly send you to a different hotel, claiming it is an upgrade (which it is not). The reception man is a scam artist. Do not book tours through him! We left after one night. Traumatic experience, and I wouldn't wish this horrible place on anyone.

First of all the hotel staff are scam artist. They will get you with a free and terrible dinner then try to sell you overpriced tour packages. They coordinate with the tour guides to drive you to their friends shops all day instead who will corner you into buying fake items instead of taking you to the sights they promised and then will do nothing about it when you complain. The front desk staff is rude. Our small room with no windows. We booked a pyramid facing room but they gave to someone else and said they were overbooked. The hotel was not busy at all. The view is nice but that’s about it. Seriously, there are much nicer places to stay.

Reception was nice, but that is not enough to run a business. The room they gave me was one of the worst rooms I have ever seen in my life. I have been traveling to many countries before, seen many poor areas, buildings etc. but this exceeded everything I've ever encountered. Upon entering you could smell the SEWAGE & URINE very strongly, the bathroom drain was clogged, so you would have to shower with sewage water up to your ankles. There were sewage drain flies and cockroaches infestation. Both "children's beds" they put together to make 1 bed in the room had broken baseboards, so severe to the point that the mattress was on the floor! The windows are not sealed and you can hear all the ruckus going on outside literally non stop for 24hrs. Dogs barking, motorcycles speeding & honking, people yelling, horses running, you can hear ALL THIS nonstop. You will not be able to sleep or eat here. The breakfast included its upstairs outdoors and they have yet another infestation FLIES everywhere, and I mean hundreds of them all over the food as soon as they put it on table. I was not able to eat, at all. It was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. I cannot believe the owner & managers think that this is OK. ,maybe for poor Egyptians it is, but your not servicing poor Egyptians, you are servicing tourists from other continents who are not capable to withstand these unsanitary, uninhabitable conditions. Also stop doing business with the scammer AMR GAMAL, he has been reported a known scammer by many tourists from different countries, and may soon be wanted by international police. You don't want to appear guilty by association.

My wife and I have been traveling together for over 20 years and we have never once had this happen. We were visiting Egypt for Thanksgiving and after staying a night at the Osiris Hotel in Downtown Cairo (which is well worth the money), we wanted to stay the second night near the pyramids, which we would visit the following morning. After looking at several reviews, which highly recommended the Panorama Pyramids Inn, we were sold. We booked two rooms (we have a family of four and there are few hotels in the area that allow 4 people to a room so we had to get two rooms) about 2 months out, both with full pyramid views. We arrived around 2 PM on a Tuesday, were pleasantly greeted by the front desk who asked for a copy of our reservation (which I did not think much of at the time). After a few minutes, he told us that our rooms were not yet ready but to leave our bags at the front desk and then he led us up 3 floors (there is no elevator so keep this in mind if someone in your group doesn't do stairs well) to the rooftop deck. I will tell you, the views are amazing there. You can see the pyramids and the Sphinx (note that you may have an obstructed view of the Sphinx depending on where you are standing/sitting). The hotel offered us a free welcome drink per person and we ordered some hummus as we didn't know how long we would have to wait. After about an hour, a different gentlemen told us our rooms were ready but first they wanted to talk to us about the tours they offered. He spent about 15 minutes going through tours, none of which would fit what my family wanted to do (we enjoy walking and despite the person telling us that it is too far to walk between the pyramids, that is hardly the case--they are very walkable). After we declined, we went downstairs and that is when the (non) fun started. The front desk person told us that the hotel would get our bags and he would show us to our room. We are a family that only travels with carryons that are backpacks or roll so although we let him take one of our bags, we rolled the rest. That was an important move because the front desk person led us outside of the Panorama Pyramids Inn and down the (very dirty) street about 1.5 blocks to another building that had "Taj Palace" at the very top and upon entering the building had "Mena Hotel" in the lobby (with no attendant), which was in disarray and dirty. After going up a flight of stairs, there was a check in for what was obviously a different hotel (if the different building and signage did not give it away, the second check in desk did). We were led into two rooms that both had obstructive views of the pyramids, not the full views we were promised and what it appeared we would have in the Panorama Pyramids Inn. In fact, in one of them the window stared at a brick wall. In addition, one of the rooms had construction going on next door with constant loud banging, both were not very clean, and neither had their air conditioning working well. After being in the rooms for just a couple minutes, we knew that this was wrong. So I went back out of the current building, down the street and to the Panorama Pyramids Inn and told the front desk person that this was not the hotel we booked. He had the gall to lie to me and tell us that it was the "SAME" hotel and that it was the "Expedia" rate part of the Panorama Pyramids Inn. Clearly, that was not the case so I called the booking agency (I used Capital One Travel) who then tried to contact the hotel directly. The Capital One Travel representative came back on and said that the Panorama Pyramids Inn told her that there is a 30 minute wait to speak to a representative. Of course, I was in the lobby at the time staring at the front desk person who obviously was not on the phone. Basically, he was intentionally stalling. Then he lied to the travel representative as well--saying that they had given us the rooms that we were promised but that we refused. Again, absolutely not the case. After being on the phone for about 45 minutes (and still on the phone) another person from the Panorama Pyramids Inn came over and said that the other hotel had "the same owner" but also admitted that what was happening was very wrong. After speaking with a supervisor for Capital One Travel, we were eventually booked in a new hotel. The long and short of it is that we booked and arrived at the hotel of our choice and they pulled a bait and switch--misrepresenting that a completely different (and lower grade hotel) was the same as the Panorama Pyramids Inn. And then when we brought it to their attention, they doubled down and lied about it. You can choose for yourself what you want to do, but my families' recommendation is to at most have a drink on the rooftop deck but otherwise stay far away from this hotel. You will not get what you paid for.

My family and I visited the Panorama Pyramids Inn and were immediately disgusted by the smell of urine throughout the property, filthy hotel room and the horrific location. Anyone that has given a favorable review has obviously never visited this hotel. If you stay there, be prepared to be surrounded by hundreds of rabid dogs and gangs of loud/ threatening locals. We were forced to leave the hotel in the middle of the night to find a better, cleaner and safer hotel. The owner and management of this hotel should be disgusted with themselves for allowing people to stay in their filthy excuse for a hotel.
