This hotel is basic and you should only stay here for the amazing views of the Pyramids at sunset and sunrise. Having said that, our room on the first floor (102) was clean and comfortable with 2 double beds and a balcony with a view of the pyramids although higher floor room gets better view. Now, the negatives: a. Our room was over looking the street on the first floor. The balcony door did not secure properly and room has no soundproofing so we could hear noise until the middle of the night. And the area can be noisy with construction, traffic etc until late. We can also hear neighbours next door. So bring earplugs otherwise it’d be hard to sleep. b. Hot water in the shower didn’t work on the second day, called reception and the guy came and said “it’s working”. Took an hour to “fix” but still didn’t work. The temperature of the water was colder than the heated pool at our Hurghada hotel so go figure! c. TV in the room didn’t work. Called reception and they sent someone but still didn’t work so we left it. d. Rooftop restaurant tried to overcharge us and after asking many times still overcharge by EGP20 so we left it. The food was tasty though. e. Breakfast although was plentiful and varied, took a long time to be served. We were late for our tour as a result. Having said that, they served falafel (which were good), omelette, cheeses, cold meats, bread and beans served with orange juice. Adequate for us. The hotel is not meant for long stays, one or two nights maximum.

You can't ask for a better location or a more accommodating team than at this bed and breakfast. A great view of the Pyramids (across the street). The breakfast was ok, but the view from the terrace is what it's all about. The room was fine. Overall a good value, but if you're looking for upscale amenities, keep looking. If you're looking for good location at great price and kind staff, this is the place.

Very close to the pyramids area. Very good guide and driver ho took me around Cairo. Perfect if you want to see the sound and light show of the pyramids. You can se it on the roof restaurang. Female guide was really good. I enjoyed it very much. Perfect hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Good rooms and good breakfast.

Upon arrival I found out my hotel had not been paid. I had been victim of fraud by a guide who works with this hotel. I had to pay again, and specifically told the front desk clerk to ensure he wrote on my booking that if anyone were to call or come looking for me, to say I was not staying there. I explained my situation in detail. but, guess what? The next morning at 6am the front desk person came banging on my door, not once, but multiple times (3x) wanting me to leave with "my tour guide"! Unbelievable. The room they gave me was filthy and they had not change the sheets for months, the stench of body odor & soil almost made me sick. The room did not even have a phone to call front desk! The next morning I went to the reception to speak with manager and the big man who was there just chilling declined the manager or any other info I had asked him for. His english was terrible and had NO customer service.Do not stay here or any of these hotels on the same street, they are all the same.

We did appreciate that they had a good airport pick up and drop off service. NOTE - You have to pay to GO to the airport but not be picked up which was unclear at booking. Also the driver was 20 minutes late for return trip to airport and as we had an early flight it was a bit stressful...but he did come eventually. The hotel has a roof deck with a view of pyramids and sphinx which is the only reason to stay here. The breakfast was not great, just basic. Restaurant bar on roof with great view and very mediocre food that I think they get from a local restaurant and walk over. The guy at reception was friendly as was the staff, although the restaurant service staff were more interested in watching TV and looking at their phones then serving people. You just have to chill and not expect the best service. The bed, sheets and towels were good. Bathroom was dated and due for a renovation but clean, though not a great hair dryer. The safe was small and was not attached to the cabinet so that was dumb. Our door to our balcony (room 109) was loose and did not close tight and the lock was bent out of shape - not safe or secure. Also the room my sister and husband were in next door (room 108) did not even have a working lock. We asked hotel to have them fixed and they did not for the 3 days we stayed there, so we did not feel secure leaving our suitcases and valuables there. Do not stay in Room 109 (!!) as there is no direct view out from room to pyramids, you have to walk through a narrow outside passage to the balcony, also there is lots of noise from the window that looks out to an airshaft of 1 metre a across where all the noise form the restaurant bar one floor up comes down to. Made for no sleep as it was a very noisy room, and I can normally sleep through most loud noises. Better to get a room that has a better balcony, so when checking in ASK TO SEE THE ROOM first. We paid more and confirmed the Panoramic Double Room and Room 109 was definitely not as the website room photos showed. Other than the view from restaurant and small balcony, this is a place to stay literally for one night at the very most. There is not much to do in Giza town (until they open the new museum) and as this is my 2nd time to Egypt and Giza, I can tell you it is best to visit Giza Pyramids for a day trip or even go twice and see the light show at night, but there is no need to stay at this hotel....stay in Cairo and commute there by taxi, driver or Uber. And if you do stay in Giza, just pay a little bit more and stay at Mena House or a nicer hotel that may not have as close a view, but still has a very similar view but has a pool, better food and is not so run down. Why go cheap since you made the effort to go to the pyramids, so you will never regret spending more to have a better memory of your visit. Also, check to see if there is a cultural or private event booked across from the hotel as there was one on our last night and the music was thumping loud until 3:30am, and when it stopped then they started with the tear down of the event so we had a sleepless night then had to go to airport at 7am. It was brutal. We travel a lot and have stayed in many cheaper accommodations and some can be charming, but this place is not charming. Maybe just go to the restaurant bar for dinner and a drink but we will not stay here again. Again, we are not precious people, but given the room was not secure and they did not care to fix the locks and the room was not as advertised, we can not recommend staying here. Only reason it gets any stars is the view from restaurant deck.

Awesome view from the rooftop restaurant where you can see the sunset and the light and sound show at night. Good value for the room. Grateful for the excellent service by the manager hani who made me feel very welcome and helped me with some of my requests! Tips for food and drinks nearby: eat at abou shakra outlet and get a fresh sugar cane drink from the fruit stall, both are just 1min walk away :D Safe place to walk around as it's so near the Giza pyramids ticket entrance and a lot of police presence.

I absolutely loved this small family boutique hotel, because :- The views of ‘The Pyramids and the Sphinx’ was Superb, both from my Bedroom and the Roof top restaurant, you couldn’t any closer and not forgetting a Birds eye view of the ‘Sound and Light Show’ and so making that show complimentary every night. From the very friendly staff to the very thoughtful owner Ghoneim, as they all went out of their way to assist me, as a solo woman traveller. From arranging, a complimentary one-way Taxi Service from Cairo International Airport to the hotel (this depends on the number of nights you stay, I stayed 3. Ghoneim (the owner) went down the street to exchange my sterling notes for me, all part of the service. They do exchange US dollars in the hotel itself and maybe Euros. My room was a good size with a great Balcony, a retreat place, as mentioned above – you’re in absolute ‘awe’ of the viewing what’s in front of you - The Pyramids and the sphinx. There’s a fridge in the room with complimentary water and stocked up as you wished, there’s also a kettle with a variety of tea-bags too. The bathroom had a shower with plenty of toiletries. As a solo traveller, Ghoneim answered all my queries promptly before my stay I highly recommend this wonderful family run hotel and I wouldn’t book anywhere else in Giza – it’s simply the Very best accommodation and I look forward to my next trip to staying there.

My family and I spent 2 nights at the Giza Pyramid View Inn - the view of the pyramids is definitely the most amazing view, we have seen. To be able to see the pyramids and the sphinx from the roof top of the Inn was just unbelievable. The light and sound display could have been better, I’d also have preferred it to be translated in English as we would have understood it better. The staff at the Inn were very friendly (always smiling) and happy to help. Mohammed (Sales Manager) kept in regular contact with us via text message before we arrived in Cairo - making sure all our needs would be met. The local taxi driver (Mohammed) was also very friendly and entertained us (scary) with his driving skills to and from the Inn. He had a lot of local knowledge about the area. We booked a tour through the Inn and we were not disappointed with our Tour Guide Sherine - she has a wealth of knowledge about the museum (the collections exhibited), and Egyptian history. She was very attentive, patient and was able to answer all our questions. Sherine was able to recommend many shops that we were able to purchase beautiful gifts for ourselves and the home.

Its a really nice hotel with amazing hospitality. Staff are very very helpful. Breakfast is rich and generous, food is great. Rooms are comfortable and with balcony view just on Pyramids and Spinx, first row show, you can’t get any nearer. And at the evening you can enjoy free light and sound show for free and at your own table, while having delicious meal. And all the staff really cares for all guests well-being, it felt like being part of family. Warmly recommend!
