I recently stayed at the Sahara Pyramids Inn in Cairo, and unfortunately, my experience was not what I had hoped for. While the hotel is located in a convenient location near the Pyramids of Giza and other tourist attractions, there were several issues that left me feeling disappointed. Firstly, the room I was given was not clean was super small and had NO (correct) window. The sheets were stained, the bathroom was dirty and small, and there were hairs on the floorand on the sheets. Secondly, the Wi-Fi in the hotel was not existing and the only place with a wifi was the lobby at the ground floor. As a traveler who relies on the internet for work and staying in touch with friends, this was a significant issue for me. I was unable to get much work done and had trouble making plans for the day due to the poor internet connection. Additionally, the breakfast provided by the hotel was a nightmare. The food was not fresh, and the selection was limited, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and hungry. The breakfast in the photo is definitely not the one we got. Additionally there was not proper staff to serve, when we entered the roof where breakfast was supposed to be served there was absolutely nothing indicating a closed place. After inquiring some very young staff they brought us something to eat which was way different from the photo. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, making for an overall terrible breakfast experience. Lastly, the noise level in the hotel was quite high, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep as. The walls were thin, and noise from the street and neighboring rooms could be heard clearly throughout the night. This made for an uncomfortable and restless stay. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Cairo.…
Really good place to stay! Is it perfect, no, but the staff here make this place 100% worth staying! For the money, it’s great, the view is amazing from the rooftop cafe, I would stay for that alone to be honest! Overlooking the great pyramids! Anas is a hero! He saved our trip after a tour company cancelled our Nile cruise! He jumped on the phone and hooked us up within hours and at a good price! Hasuna as well is a great kid! We had a great New Year’s party too on the roof with these lads who cranked up the tunes at our request! Good on you guys!
Upon our arrival in Giza we had a problem with the hotel we originally booked and they were overbooked. So our driver took us to this beautiful hotel with an amazing location! 😊 Tamer welcomed us warmly at 2am and gave us a room with a breathtaking view of the pyramids! The room was spacious, clean and great shower! Everything we needed and more. The service was impeccable! We definitely recommend this property to friends and family coming to Giza! Sending much love to the Sahara Pyramids Inn team! Pedro & Carolina.
Beautiful place , spectacular view of the pyramids clean room , friendly staff , I recommend it , the best in pyramids area the restaurant and food front of the pyramids is the best also you can watch the sound and light show at night from the rooftop with your drink or your food i will come back soon for sure
As I write this review of the Sahara pyramids inn from my hotel in Dubai, I will say that I’m used to staying in nice places. This place was honestly not too bad! The area may be a bit sketchy, but most of Giza is! The hotel is directly across the street from the Pyramids and the roof top restaurant is the perfect location to take selfies with the pyramids in the background. When I arrived, my room was not ready (they were taking extra precautions to clean it according to Covid standards), but we were directed to the rooftop restaurant on the 4th floor and given a welcome drink. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful to us. They even charged our phones for us while we waited for our room. We stayed in room 402, which faced the pyramids. The room was not too bad, it was clean and stocked with water. At night we went back to the rooftop restaurant to watch the light show and it was very cold (I didn’t expect it to be so chilly) and the staff plugged up a heater for us to use while we watched the show. We only stayed one night but it was a pleasant experience!…
There were no water in the rooms. Ants allover, on the bed in the bathroom and pillows. The bed was broken and they said it was our fault. the key to open the room door was rusty it would take time to open. I would not recommend this hotel at all
This hotel is cheap for a good reason. It is at best a 1 star hotel. No elevator, no A/C throughout the hotel, only in the room. The bathroom is hardly large enough to stand in. Shower was old and decrepit, shower head was broken, no door or curtain on the shower. Water went all over the place. TV did not work. Free breakfast was good at best. Electrical wires hanging out in the hallway. If you want a carriage ride to the pyramids, walk down the street and make a deal with someone there. The hotel overcharges and sets you up with their "guide". This guy was trying to get a $50-$100 TIP from me for a 30 minute carriage ride. He takes you to his camel photo buddy who I gave a $12 tip to and he wanted an additional $20. Then he takes you to a perfume shop that overcharges. We found the same perfume at the market in Cairo for 1/4 the price there. The hotels in downtown Cairo are much better for not a lot of money. Spend a little more and stay in a hotel where you'll be comfortable and not taken for a ride.…
The hotel is in a perfect location overseeing the pyramids and directly in front of the Sphinx. The place and the room was very nice and clean. The staff has simply been the best I’ve ever seen. They simply go above and beyond for everything we could ever needed. Everyone speaks enough English and they are always so attentive! The views are breathtaking morning, noon and night.
The best is absolutely a very beautiful view, the food and the room is more than wonderful. The place is very clean and has a room, a room, a room, a room and a beautiful room. Watching the daily pyramids shows with all the food directly, I will definitely come back again.
The best hotel ever, directly in front of the three pyramids and the Sphinx, you can see the pyramids' shows at night, the food is very excellent, the rooms are quiet and clean, and the staff are cooperative. I definitely recommend this place as it is the best in the region
